    Salt

    I track my diet and sodium is always in the red but never actually add salt particularity, I know foods have salt already. When I watch a cooking show on TV they always throw handfuls of salt onto nearly everything, what's with that? I want to balance my sodium and potassium.

    Batch Cooking Recipies

    I like to make a batch of split pea soup then I found split brown chickpea and have been using. Today I;ll make a batch and near the end of cooking I'll add some red lentils and defrosted frozen peas, carrots and corn. Some I'll freeze.

    I use Jamaican curry powder, fry cubed chicken breast that has some powder mixed in it, Bisto's gravy separate, basmati rice. Often fry green pepper and onion but today used broccolli.

    What does your kitchen look like?

    This is not our actual kitchen but a photo from our apartment website, it is the same kitchen layout, same cabinets and appliances. We have a microwave right in the corner there. We never use the dishwasher except for storing plastic food containers. The floor is tile.
