Add me for another vote! I may be running my first 50km that day but hopefully will be able to hop on. We should get a time locked down so folks can plan.
Couldn't agree more with Fremen's concise take here.
Every time I work out, I think about what I had to overcome to be there and feel proud and tough that I'm there despite all the odds and despite how the workout felt. Other people don't know your origin story or your limits and often...
I don't worry about streaks at all. I've been looping IRONBORN on repeat for over a year now and I only do 4x a week to keep the rotation steady. The only important part is consistency and if that's off, just pick up where you dropped and go again. When I started strength training, I knew...
When I feel let down by a workout I have to actively flip my thinking to "despite being untrained/tired, I pushed until I hit my limit and that is badass and a win." It's even more badass to refactor your plan and come back more determined. Every time you hit a limit you push it further. You...
For strength, I can't recommend IRONBORN enough. I couldn't figure out how to get started with my dumbbells until I found it and I've been looping through it ever since. It's helped me build muscle/strength for running which is my main hobby but also keeps me looking toned.
One perk of building...
Thank you @Damer! I think I was the first like on youtube =P
So grateful for all the love and time you put into these resources. I've completely transformed my life since finding darebee in 2019.
During my first run through fighter's codex ages ago I really struggled with turning kicks (even after watching the example video here) and made up a movement that wasn't ideal for many workouts until I realized I was definitely wrong. Lion's GIFs seem helpful maybe because they have a target...
You will need to figure out the "tag" for each workout. I find it via the URL: https://darebee.com/workouts/mage-workout.html <- in this case it's simply "mage" (omit the "-workout.html" and the rest of the URL). This should always be lowercase with hyphens instead of spaces.
Welcome back!
Admire your decision and it prompts me to do some self reflection.
Just wanted to say thanks; you have been a huge direct inspiration for a long time with your stoic consistency with running and IRONBORN. I used to see your log and think maybe I'll reach something resembling your routine...
