After only one day I've already seen the difference I was able to walk to the park about 2 blocks carrying a Big Wheel without stabbing pain going up and down my legs and lower back I still had a little soreness but the difference is amazing! 🥰🥰🥰 I figure I'll keep this plan up until I have no more pain then go back to Square One.

Will be adding:
The Lower Back Workout, in 2 days
The Glutes of Steel Challenge, in 5 days

Day 1: Back Pain Plan

✅ Fix It workout morning

✅ Fix It workout night

✅ 2-3 fruits, 3-4 veggies daily

❌ No processed food

✅ 70+ ozs water

✅ First Thing water Day 6

❌Stress Management Routine

The constant soreness is making me get lazy, I know if I stretch and do my stress management routine which includes a breathing exercise and a muscle relaxation exercise I'll feel better, but it just seems like too much effort or something, weird. I'm thinking of trying some acupressure and will be doing some research soon.

Day 2:

✅ Fix It workout morning

✅ Fix It workout night

❌ Stretch

✅ 3000-4000 steps

✅ 2-3 fruits, 3-4 veggies daily

❌ No processed food

✅ 70+ ozs water

✅ First Thing water Day 7

☑️ Stress Management Routine

I'm struggling real bad but I'm going to get there, I had a really motivating epiphany yesterday, it's kinda silly but I'll share anyway.

Sometimes I think I don’t want to forgive myself and accept the fact that like everyone else I make mistakes, I have lapses in judgment, and I hurt people, and if I forgive myself then I have to forgive “them”.

I know I don’t have to do anything but I know my stupid kind heart. And I don’t want to forgive “them” what they did was unforgivable. But it feels like the anger has become a pass to stay in limbo.

I always forget that the best revenge is moving on like “they” never mattered and live your best life. Which probably isn’t the best mindset but I know once I’m on the other side they’ll just be a distant memory.

So I officially forgive myself, for declaring myself as someone I’m not, for what I discovered about myself that I didn’t like, for not doing what I promised, for looking the other way, for not speaking up, and for holding myself to a higher standard than I do anyone else.

Day 3:

✅ Fix It workout morning

✅ Fix It workout night

❌ Stretch

❌ 3000-4000 steps

✅ 2-3 fruits & 3-4 veggies daily

❌ No processed food

❌ 80+ ozs water

✅ First Thing water Day 8

❌ Stress Management Routine

❌ Mindset routine

I can’t believe it but I’m still here, it hasn’t been 10 straight days and it hasn’t been perfect, but I only skipped 2 days one was due to a sick kid, and the other was lots of pain and normally it would have been 2 weeks to 2 years off. I feel it it’s coming I’m going to reach my goals. 💪🏼

Day 4:

✅ Fix It workout morning

✅ Fix It workout night

❌ Stretch

✅ 3000-4000 steps

✅ 2-3 fruits & 3-4 veggies daily

❌ No processed food

❌ 80+ ozs water

✅ First Thing water Day 9

✅ Stress Management Routine

✅ Mindset routine

My Fitbit broke right at the 1 yr mark 🤔 Gibbs says there’s no coincidence. Thinking about going to a cheaper brand, this is the second time it’s happened. Feeling a little down today but I'm going to trust in the plan I can do it.

@SkorpionUK After some research I learned you’re supposed to give it a break every once in a while and I wore mine 24/7 😣
I... what? First I heard of it! But okay. Everyone needs breaks.

I also thought - while tracking is nice, maybe it's also a bit like training wheels on a bike. Eventually we can choose to move past them, then put them back on to realign, etc.

Still tired and sore all the time but since starting the Fix It Workout I barely have any shooting pains up and down my legs and lower back, so yay!

I have gained about 10 pounds since starting insulin, boo! I’ve been doing some research on managing the increased appetite and the experts suggest a bunch of stuff I was already trying to do but I did find some new tips.

  • Eat high-fiber, low-carbohydrate foods.
  • Eat a high-protein breakfast.
  • Exercise through a craving.
  • Distract yourself while having a craving—go on a walk, take a shower, or do an activity you enjoy.
Well I already knew about the fiber but I never really calculated how much I was eating turns out I was eating nowhere near enough. Even having 3 fruits and 4 servings of veggies a day. So I've been adding 1/2 cup of beans to lunch & dinner lol 💨💨 excuse me.

And I'm happy to report that steamy romance novels usually do the trick to distract me from in-between meal snacking. My favs are wolf shifters, witches, and Regency. If anyone has any recommendations feel free to share.

Day 7:

✅ Fix It Workout morning

✅ Fix It workout night

❌ Lower Back Workout

❌ Stretch

✅ 15-minute Dance Workout

✅ 2-3 fruits & 3-4 veggies daily

✅ 25-35g of dietary fiber

❌ No processed food

❌ 80+ ozs water

✅ First Thing water Day 12

☑️ Stress Management Routine

✅ Mindset routine

Today’s Affirmation: I am a priority in my life, my health and healing matter.

Curbing my appetite today was a lot easier, when I wasn’t working or doing chores I read my trashy novel, who said they were a waste of time lol I’m working on a Angels and Demons one.
I’m also doing a lot of nutrition and supplements research which also helps with the appetite, can’t binge when reading about healthy nutrition.

I put sardines on the grocery list for my omega-3’s it’s supposed to be the best source, and I put sunning on my todo list for the vitamin D. And I made a doctors appointment to test for any vitamin deficiencies.

Day 8:

✅ Fix It workout morning

✅ Fix It workout night

❌ Lower Back workout

❌ Stretch

✅ 2-3 fruits & 3-4 veggies daily

✅ 25-35g of dietary fiber

❌ No processed food

✅ 80+ ozs water

✅ First Thing water Day 13

If you buy sardines in a tin, try to buy those in oil (olive oil would be best, but sunflower/soy usually is cheaper) and drain them well.

And please give the title of the trashy novel, if you don't mind. Sometimes I'm in the mood for those ;)
