  • Grateful that I still had that free emergency rescheduling available at my drum lessons. Next time, I'm setting three alarms.
  • Grateful I managed to find a way to respond to a dead end conversation and didn't end up ghosting anyone today.
  • Grateful that I still have so much of "Stand Still Stay Silent" left to read - this comic is so beautiful, I don't want it to end.
:v: Counting Victories
  • Did the laundry AND washed the dishes.

  • Warm and dry outside today! With wind that helps to cool you down. Perfect weather tbh.
  • Found a perfect use for one of my notebooks: taking notes on the coffee I'm making to keep track of everything.
  • Grocery store had a lot of discounted salads (still fresh though), so I'm eating spinach omelette tomorrow.
:v: Counting Victories
  • Finally went to the bookstore to pick up my pre-order that's been waiting for weeks. Walked back home.
Additional:
Took the stairs (down & up) x3
An hour long walk
Chest & Shoulders (light)
Arms & Shoulders Stretching
Come Alive
Chest & Back (light)
Arms & Chest Stretching

Something I've noticed recently is that knee push-ups have become easier for me to do. My muscles don't tire out as fast, and staying in position requires less effort. I'm improving!

  • Didn't actually kill my steamer by forgetting to top it off with water - looks like the soot scrubs off just fine. And if it won't... well, as long as there aren't any holes, it'll still be useable. Just grateful I won't have to throw out the whole thing or try and search for the replacement basket-pot-thing.
  • Bumble coffee with grapefruit juice turned even better than before. Is it because the grapefruit's better, or because the coffee turned out especially good?
  • Having eggs in the fridge is a blessing. I even tried making steamed eggs, but... just got an omelette. Perhaps the straining-through-a-sieve step is more important than I've thought...
:v: Counting Victories
  • Got more lettuce scraps - all set and ready to grow more lettuce from them.
Additional:
Went down the stairs twice (didn't have time for the reverse)

  • Forever grateful to my mom for being so ready to lend a helping hand with some of the housework from time to time, and also talking me out of my worse ideas, housework-wise.
  • Grateful to my dad for visiting two days in a row to help with assembling a bookcase I've been wanting for like three years now.
  • And grateful to Dianna Lopez and Malte Marten for making and sharing their music that's been instrumental in creating a relaxed atmosphere these last two days, and helping to keep any conflict to almost none (because everyone was too chilled out to get frustrated or angry).
:v: Counting Victories
  • Helped with the assembly of the bookcase.
  • Cleaned the bookcase.
  • Reorganized my entire book collection and then some to fit into the bookcase.
  • Cleaned the apartment after that entire ordeal.
  • Helped mom to make pizza again, and it was even better somehow.
Additional:
Stairs (down & up)
Housework (cleaning, cooking etc)

  • Cafe I visited for the first time had 30% off all pre-packaged food, pastries, and desserts.
  • My new rug for the entryway area has arrived at last. And my entryway looks so neat now, I really like it.
  • There are some pretty old trees near my building! Very cozy, almost felt like I was in a forest or something.
:v: Counting Victories
  • Finally got around to the book I've started reading literal years ago.
  • Remembered to apply sun protection before going out. Also just looked it up, and apparently it needs to be applied year-round? The more you know.
  • Explored nearby area and found a way to get around a major road intersection without taking a bus.
Additional:
Exercise of the day (50 chest expansions)
Stairs (down)
Walked around for a little over an hour

  • Saw the sunlight today! Hashtag blessed.
  • My best sunscreen still good.
  • Found a way to collect used coffee grounds without too much risk of mold. Of course, chances of mold are never zero, but I think drying coffee grounds in the sun before storing them away will help.
:v: Counting Victories
  • Cleaned the kitchen so I won't have to wake up to a mess tomorrow.
  • Got two boiled eggs marinating and managed to peel them with surprising ease. Gonna have one with rice tomorrow :)
Additional:
Stairs (down & up)
Stakeout [workout of the day]

  • Tested another of my leftover sunscreens - still good!
  • Found a radio station that doesn't suck.
  • Remembered how awesome Alphys is.
:v: Counting Victories
  • Finally managed to get a good cup of coffee from the latest roast I've opened.
  • At last downloaded the app I've been meaning to get to.
  • Made a mix of brown and white rice to eat throughout the week, which turned out really filling.
Additional:
Short bicycle trip to the grocery store and back.

  • Found a secondhand clothing store with good prices.
  • Got really into a book I was reading.
:v: Counting Victories
  • Finished all of the today's exercise despite being so tired after getting back home that I just wanted to go to sleep.
  • Got more protein & also creatine which is new.
  • Visited my parents' place since I was in the area. I should do this more often.
  • Throughout the day remembered to snack.
  • Remembered to apply sunscreen and wear sunglasses.
  • Chose comfortable shoes for today's outing so I didn't get blisters or anything.
Additional:
Exercise of the day (50 arm circles)
So much walking. And stairs. All the while carrying just a backpack first, and then two heavy bags too. Did I mention how tired I am?
