Thank you so much, Laura!

Saw the Kittens today.

I've been unwell (not seriously) for a few days, so took three days off. I'm heading back to health now so did:

DD, Hiit challenge, mini calisthenics to get me started again.

I will do a full day's schedule tomorrow.

Thank you PSW (and Madame Luna!). And thank you for the likes.

Somewhat back in form today.

Saturday is my long run day and I did 14.82km with 290 metres climb. Untimed. Somewhere between 1:30 and 2:00 I guess. I enjoyed it in lovely weather.

DD. HIIT Challenge. Mini calisthenics.

I was ill again after that run! Ha!

There are a lot of bugs around at the moment.

I did an easy combat workout last night, DD, mini calisthentics, 2 minute abs. I'm due to run today, but I'll see how I feel when the time comes.

Thank you Bees. x

Timed 5k yesterday at 25:48. An OK time. I'd like to be around 25 minutes consistently so I can try to get one of my 10ks under 50 minutes this year.

DD, 2-minute abs, plank hold challenge, mini calisthenics last night.

I did a very gentle "recovery run" today. 5.6km untimed. Hoping to do a HIIT later plus the usuals.

Thank you Bees. On we go. x

Not logging very well, but I am continuing as best as I can.

Another week of being ill. Not in a serious way, but it seems I get every cold and virus going. I missed playing football and a couple of runs as a result. I don't think I've had Covid (though who really knows!), so I don't know about any long-term effects on my immune system. I work from home and I'm quite isolated, but my partner goes away and works in very crowded public spaces, so I think I'm just catching whatever she brings back. And, it's just bad luck.

None of these illnesses have been serious, they're just annoying.

I've kept up most of my routine though. I completed 2 minute abs programme. I'm doing the Arcade challenge as it fits my need better than the current holds one. And, I should be back running tomorrow in preparation for my first 10k race the weekend after.

I hope everyone is doing well. Thank you Bees. x

Thank you Laura. Thank you Agile!

Thank you likers.

I did my 10k yesterday and ran 49:52, which is either my best or second best time ever! (I've done under 50 minutes twice now I think.) It was a nice flat course with plenty of space. My next one is in four weeks.

Today, is a rest and recovery day. I might try the DD and see if I can get back onto my general programme tomorrow.

Thank you Dawn, Laura, PSW, aku-chan and likers.

Sort of a rest day yesterday. I played soccer in the evening. It was my first game for a while and I enjoyed it. It's one of my very few social interractions so I want to make the most of it.

Today, I felt quite lively so tried to do a full day's programme in my ideal world.

That was:

Mobility routine from Strongevity (short stretching routine).
DD - hopping!
Arcade challenge - 200 points via more hopping.
2 - minutes abs, day 1. (I decided to run through this again, as it's a relatively easy thing I can add to my daily routine.)
Combat day. Montrait Muay Thai 90-day challenge part 1, week 1. Again, an old favourite and still at the edge of my fitness capabilities.
Daily calisthenics - 30 press ups, 75 squats, 30 table rows.

My challenge at the moment is just to do something every day.

Still fairly active. Still doing something every day, or close to it.

Not logging very much. That's fine. I'm very much trying to avoid falling into demotivating traps - taking on too much largely.

I'm running three times a week. Still doing my daily calisthenics routine, now up to 3 X (12 push ups, 30 squats, 11 table rows), generally do the DD, slowly going back through 2-minute abs, usually doing what's scheduled in the Fighter training plan, and doing this month's challenge.

I hope everyone is doing well. x
