Fit December included 100 lunges. Felt good afterwards for the first time. Usually lunges leave me near crippled.

It's not That crazy @JohnStrong . Some of them overlap. Like if I already did 70 pushups I can check the box on the 50 a day.

But it did all add up to 10 minutes planks, 121 pushups, 207 squats, 3 minutes burpees, 2 minutes kicks, 2 minutes punches, 4 minutes high knees, 1 minute jumping jack, 7 minutes light weightlifting.

Ended up too tired, too late, and too sore to do all I intended today. The pushups are ok but all the plank rotations, side planks, and elbow planks are killing my shoulders.

I will take it easy for a day or so and ice. Then pick up where I left off.

Kind of overkill. Since I wasn't doing anything shoulder related I did as much lower body as I could. Will continue on the minimal shoulders tomorrow.

Correction. I did do some shoulder work. Recovered an old hand crank forge and with some grease and coal got it running again. Also carried an 180 lb (82kg) anvil around.

So I was outside in 32°F (0°C) shirtless hammering away with sparks flying.

Maybe I should change my class to barbarian?

TUESDAY to SUNDAY
Short 2 to 4 hour hikes in very steep and wooded terrain at Worlds End State Park in northeast Pennsylvania. No ice this year made for less treacherous going along cliffs and waterfalls, but doesn't look as striking.

Some wildlife about. Chickadees, nuthatches, grouse, ravens, turkeys, red squirrels, woodpeckers (hairy, downy, and pileated), some coyote droppings, mice, some kind of owl, hawks, and a bald eagle.

Did a few workouts I could remember (grip, Posture, first thing, etc.)

Burpees are a sure fire way to remind yourself that you are never in as good shape as you think.
However I am doing ok. Reincorporating the planks in slowly.
Weight down to 287 lbs (130.2 kg). Still a lot of weight to be doing all these bodyweight exercises.
