Made more kms, but less steps. Possibly because of a few days in which I physically felt not very well, so missed some step days.
I abandoned the daily walk streak (for a Garmin badge); if I'm running I also have the benefits, but I don't have the time nor energy left to do also a walk (which is also unnecessary for the benefits of it).
It is too demotivating to see my streak get back to 0 every other day.
I have to redefine what I find a "workout streak". I wanted it to motivate myself to do 15 minutes of training every day. But often on run days I don't do anything else, while I have had a decent cardio training with it. Strava gives me a 31/31 days of exercise.
I'm not sure what my aim is here. The streak itself should not be my goal.. I think I want to train more various than only my runs and hikes, to gain some overall strength and support muscles for my runs to be strong. Maybe I should start with a goal of Darebee training like 4 times a week? To make it more reachable, and expand it when that goes well?

Today I went by bike to my brother and sister in law. I miscalculated a bit and it turned out to be almost 20 km one way. At first I wanted to hold on to my run, because it's on my schedule and I only had 1000 steps. But, what is reason? My legs were toast and I want to go for a long hike tomorrow. So no stupidities. I'm proud of myself. A few years ago I would've pushed through.

Saturday August 10th
Busy morning, with gardening, cleaning the aquarium, organising my Donald Duck magazines, laundry, and workout + a run. Then went to my mom, where we wrote some postcards, played a game of scrabble (my mom won) and went to the snackbar for fries. When I came home I was toast and fell asleep on the couch.

Saturday August 10th
Busy morning, with gardening, cleaning the aquarium, organising my Donald Duck magazines, laundry, and workout + a run. Then went to my mom, where we wrote some postcards, played a game of scrabble (my mom won) and went to the snackbar for fries. When I came home I was toast and fell asleep on the couch.

Sunday August 11th
Hike 12.15 km. we went to a heather field, but it was dissapointing. The route was called 'heather route', but it didn't go to the heather at all, so we extended the route through the field, but it was poorly maintained so it was overgrown.. besides that, the weather was perfect for a long hike.
