@BetaCorvi @Anek @TopNotch @Mianevem @Froud @Fremen @mavie @JCU @Silent Wolf @Sif_Shepard @Laura Rainbow Dragon @Louve Rose :tu: thanks all!

@SkorpionUK I don't know if they advertise, in the Netherlands I hadn't seen it before, my friend found it and 'recruited' me ;) They have a lot of virtual challenges, and they're spamming me with discounts and stuff trying to convince me to do also another one. You pay for each challenge, I found it pretty expensive at first sight, but then I saw they plant a tree (or scoop some plastic out of the ocean, you can choose which) every 20% of the challenge.

Tuesday November 8th
My direct colleague came to me after coming back from a 3 week holiday and started the same conversation as my other colleague 4 weeks ago. Apparently she heard the same gossip from that colleague about creating an unsafe environment and that I am not giving them space to make choices for themselves. So I'm a wreck again. I'm not sure how I can be myself, questioning myself, am I okay as a person? It feels not fair that she comes up with this now, I've dealt with this already. And she also couldn't say if I created an unsafe environment in the meeting we had today (I asked her this specifically), she just said that I'm participating a lot. I'm glad I have vacation myself in a few days...

But, tonight I went to a concert of an awesome singer and it was fantastic 😊

If it helps anything, I don't think there's anything wrong with assertivity if it's not accompanied with malice and/or too much self-assurance. From what we've seen of you in the Hive so far, it's hard to imagine either of these being the case with you. And I say this as a meek person who's easily dominated. I appreciate "being given space" in a project, but if I'm not, it's usually not the others' fault, if they just happen to be more assertive than me...

Today turned out okay. I spoke with another intern (we have 4 😅 this one I hadn't spoken to yet), T, and he didn't find me 'unsafe' t all. He get what others say about being a bit controlling, but he doesn't bother, especially because he's learning and I saved his ass last week because of it. And he had heard from one of the other interns (F) I had a good conversation with a month ago, that he was really happy with how it is going since. So again, there turned out to be no problem at all.
I kind of misspoke again though, because the first colleague complaining about my comment on the hearing aid, made a comment herself about her 'swimming rolls' and I finished her sentence... I don't think I was supposed to.. hopefully she didn't take that one too seriously..

Friday November 11th
Long day.. Ended up finishing all my paperwork of the last month at home, being busy until 1 am.. but, I can go on vacation now without any work problem at all. The intern F came to me in person today before going home, telling me that he really liked my supervision last month, so that's also a really nice sound to hear. Especially that he came up with it himself.
Until the 1st of December, I only focus on good things!

Saturday November 12th
I started the day with doing the dishes (neglected that the last few weeks), went for a run, bought amazing truffle cheese and a nut mix on the local market, prepared lasagna, watched The Lord of the Rings 2 with 2 friends and afterwards we ate the lasagna. I tried a vegetarian version (well, just replaced the mince with vegan 'mince') and it was really good (I used a lot of cheese/grana padano, so what could go wrong after all?).
And I started a new drawing challenge for the duration of my holiday: making a drawing every day.
▪️  Run 6.98 km
▪️ Basics Baseline, day 14, lvl 1+, 30 sec rest
▪️  Program Zero hero, day 5. Shoulder taps
▪️ Yoga 30 days more of yoga, day 5. Didn't finish, I stopped at step 7. A 1 minute pose is too long, especially if that means to hold a plank 3 minutes. I'm doubting if I want to finish this one again, or just restart the first 30 days of yoga.
▪️ Challenge Deadhang, day 13, 2x10 sec.
▪️ Challenge Easy abs, day 13, 16 air bike crunches with 2x2 kg ankle weights + 6 sitting twists with additional 5.5 kg dumbbell
▪️ Challenge Easy core, day 13, 3x (14 side bends + 4 twists)
▪️ Challenge Easy cardio, day 13, 4x (16 step jacks + 4 side jacks)
▪️ Challenge Daily walk, day 14. 21 min, 1.62 km warmup walk
▪️ Challenge 1 min meditation, day 13

* Lasagna
* Lovely sunny weather
* Having a lovely day with friends

Congratulations on all your progress! What an ambitious set of goals and challenges. You're making me rethink how big I should dream with exercise goals. And, yay, another check-in thread with drawings :)

Are you following any particular program/challenge for the drawings?

@JCU thanks! It will be at least 1 drawing a day until December 1st
@Mianevem Thank you! I was pretty proud of myself for it
@JohnStrong thanks! No I don't follow a pre set challenge. I love to draw but never do it, I always feel too busy or restless. A few years back I was inspired by Inktober, but I didn't want to be stuck on ink as medium and had the month off in November, so made my own challenge by just making a drawing everyday, no matter how small, just to get myself drawing again. I hoped I would keep it up by at least a drawing every month, but fell in the same rabbithole of not finding the rest to start something. So now I'm having another multiple weeks at home vacation, I thought to reinstate my challenge. And it may be anything: subject, medium, size, even a scribble is fine.

Tuesday November 15th
Another easy day. Finished my jigsaw puzzle, went to the cinema (Don't Worry Darling), did some shopping in the city (that I needed my steps was a great excuse ;) ) and played a bit of The Sims. Because at the end of the day I still hadn't enough steps, so went for a walk around the block, Pico was ouside and noticed me leaving so she came along, even though it rained. And I got my TLOTR challenge medal: it is very awesome! I won't give any spoilers if anyone wants to do it, but I was very much surprised.

Wednesday November 16th
Drove to my cousin today, she lives a 90 min drive away. I was so tired coming home, didn't do any workouts
▪️  Walk 1.63 km, warming up
▪️  Run 10-12-10 min, 2 min rest. Not my best run. Lost my glove, so had to run back to find it, luckily only a 100 meter I guess. Then was so distracted by the Highland Cattle and the sun coming through, I ran past my turn so had to turn around again. Felt chaotic..
▪️ Challenge Daily walk, day 18. Twice today: 20 min warmup, 33 min walk with my cousin
▪️ Challenge 1 min meditation, day 17
▪️ Challenge Daily Gratitude day 18:
* Me being lucky in traffic today stopping in time while everything stopped from 100 km/h to zero
* The sun coming out
* Highland cattle

@PetiteSheWolf yes, keeping distance has saved me a few times already, combined with looking ahead. For a moment I was afraid the person behind me didn't see it in time.
@motionaction thank you so much! I think the key is setting goals that are doable!

Thursday November 17th
Rainy day. I went to the mega garden center and the hardware store. I walked for over an hour and made almost 5000 steps. So I decided to skip my planned hike and just sat on the couch with Pico until I went to a friend. Her daughter turned 2 six months ago, and I still had to give her my birthday presents 🙈 she was thrilled and played with it all afternoon
