"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change. ~Carl Rogers"
There's lots of threads about staying motivated to do exercises. But I figured that maybe we need a "oops, too motivated" thread too. Because some of us could use this.

It's me. I'm the one who could use it. ^_^;;;

I was actually talking about this with my partners the other day, trying to figure out what to switch one of my programs for. Both (gently) reminded me that I tend to overthink and stress out about things. And may end up piling on more than I maybe should.

So here's a thread to remind ourselves (and, well, myself to be perfectly honest) that exercising isn't everything. There's the things that we exercise for. But also other parts of our lives we want to do too. And that balance is good. Any extreme, even "healthy" things, can cause problems or harm if taken too far.

I didn't really know what to put as the opening post for this. But, yeah, you're doing great. But you're allowed to do other things as well. ^_^

"Getting strong enough to keep two tiny humans from unaliving themselves."
I am so guilty of this! See numerous times my check-in thread has stated I over did it, got injured, or was just too sore too move. It's taken a LONG time to convince myself that Darebee really is just a tool, and that the only one judging me for changing up or taking a day off is me.

I'm getting a bit of a better balance, thanks to the kids, but it's very hard when you're the type of person who has to prove to themselves that they're 'good enough' in whatever why that lines up for them.

We got this! Besides, dropping a little bit of exercize time allows for you to fill it with another hobby or time with your partners/friends.

I, for one, dropped my Thursday gym time to join my local yarn store's knitting circle, and I've really been enjoying it.

I had a look at my ongoing programs/challenges, I have 12 challenges and one program, and it is much reasonable than before i broke my toe, it was worst.
