In 2025 we've done pulling for 12363pts, that's almost as much as 2024.

Bar Exercise Progress Thread 2026

What is it good for?
--- log your personal goals and progress on the bar
--- support each other
--- share information about bar exercises & pull-ups
--- .... fust hang out and have fun!

The Team Challenge is exactly like the one last year:
We will count down levels as a team, similar to the years before. To make it easy for everyone to start a new Level, progress will be made in steps of 1000.
LEVEL 1 = 1000 points, LEVEL 2 = 2000 points… you get it, right?

Basics
Count every repetition, that gets you one step further on your "Pull Up Road"...

Scoring
You rank the exercises yourself:
easy: 1 point per rep/hold
medium: 2 points per rep/hold
hard: 3 points per rep/hold
and beyond: ? points per rep/hold
Help needed?
Here is a possible ranking system:

Ranking (max reps/ to fatigue): points per rep
Rank A+ (1-2): 5 pts
Rank A (3-5): 4 pts
Rank B (6-13): 3 pts
Rank C (14-24): 2 pts
Rank D (25+): 1 pts

1 rep equals a 3 sec hold

My goal by the end of the year is to manage pull-ups. I'm going to set a personal limit that a true pull-up is the only way I earn 3 points per rep. Anything else will be 2 points at most.

Hey folks, my first log this year is the Dead Hang challenge. I did not finish it, but in the end I did a 90sec hang. I am counting 300pts for this effort.
