The drums are back. The Hive is restless. The frosting has begun to tremble.
This is not a normal war. Normal wars are about land, pride, or dramatic speeches on cliffs. This war is about CAKE. On one side: the Light, defending Vanilla (Angel) Cake, the fluffy beacon of righteousness and suspiciously perfect crumbs. On the other: the Dark, sworn to Chocolate Cake, rich, ruthless, and definitely running an illegal crit build. Both factions claim moral superiority. Both are lying. The truth is simpler: we will punch the air until we get that cake.
Here’s the good news: there are no complicated quests, no sacred relics, and no “prove your worth” rituals beyond throwing strikes like you mean it. Every punch, kick, elbow strike, knee strike, and backfist becomes a point for your chosen cake cult. For four days, the battlefield stays open. Allegiances may wobble. Diplomacy may fail. Someone will absolutely post “I switched sides because I had a chocolate croissant” and we will accept this as valid lore. At the end, one cake wins… and everyone gets cake anyway, because this is DAREBEE and we believe in chaotic goodness. Every warrior who logs points earns the Battleground Badge: a shiny proof-of-participation for those brave enough to fight for baked goods.
THE BATTLE BEGINS JANUARY 25TH and lasts 4 days.
How It Works
- Pick Your Side: Light (Vanilla) or Dark (Chocolate). Update your profile or declare it in the thread.
- FIGHT: Do any combat move. Punches, kicks, elbows, knees, backfists, shadowboxing, bag work, etc.
- Earn Points: 1 rep = 1 point. Count each strike. (Combos count each strike in the combo.)
- Post Your Score: Drop your total in the event thread and say which side gets the points.
- Track the Battle: Mods update the leaderboard every hour(ish) on the thread and a public spreadsheet.
- Victory: After 4 days, the side with the most points wins the Cake War.
- Claim Your Badge: Everyone who posts points can claim the Battleground Badge in their user profile.
Rules & Guidelines
- Any combat strike counts. If it’s a strike, it’s a point.
- 1 strike = 1 point. No cap. No mercy. No crumbs left behind.
- You can switch sides during the event, but points already posted stay where you put them. (History remembers.)
- Post format examples: “Day 1: 500 points for the Light!” “Lunch break chaos: 220 points for the Dark.”
- Leaderboard updates happen every hour - or so. Final scores get posted when the 4-day war ends.
Diplomacy is allowed only in the form of memes. Bribes must be paid in imaginary frosting.
