I don't know if this topic has been brought out already but I have always wondered why are there workouts that are counted instead of just clocked. Take for example the workout 20-COUNT PLANK HOLD. Wouldn't it be easier to just clock it? There are two things that can happen in COUNTING. We can make it an EC by counting veeeeery slow while we can "cheat" by counting very fast. If that is the case, what then is the ideal pace to count?

1001, 1002, 1003 ... :)
Personally I see counting as a good way to have a fluid sequence without having to stop even for an instant to start a timer, counting mentally perhaps combining slower breathing becomes an interesting extra workout but that's just my opinion :)
