Hi Dr. Raajiv

I am 67 years old and find that the best "normal easy & routine" exercise program is any format that I enjoy doing and will therefore stick with.

Your post presents a bit of a "Goldilocks" question in that the answer somewhat depends on your current level of fitness and exercise experience. Finding the program that is "just right" for you is largely dictated by the types of physical activity you find enjoyable. This might mean a program that is very rigid and lockstep, or you might find that a mixture of different disciplines works best for you as it does for me.

In the past, I have made the mistake of setting my personal bar too high by diving into a program that on a purely physical level was far too aggressive for what my 60+ year old body was ready for. From the myriad Darebee offerings, I personally enjoy the 100 No Equipment Workouts selections...AT LEVEL 1 !!!

For 2026, I am going to try to get through all 100 at Level 1 within 120 days. Then maybe (JUST maybe) I will progress to level 2. But I am not going to castigate myself if I don't quite make it. The point is just to keep trying, and if I find that I am not enjoying it, then I will try something else. There's plenty here at Darebee to choose from!

I am also gently persuading my wife, Jill, to give Zumba a try; but she "doth protest too much". Jill says, "but we don't know how to do Zumba". We will learn, and find fun in the experience together.

The point is to have fun with your exercise. Ignore what others may be telling you is the "best" form of exercise. There is no such thing.

The "best" exercise is always the exercise that you enjoy doing.

Good luck!

Level 1 is great :) In fact both me and my husband have started on 1/3 of the level 1. For a month or 2 we were doing 1/3 of level 1 of daily workout and only later on added 2nd and 3rd round :) consistency is a key.

If you don't know where to start, one of Darebee's two basic programs is a good choice. You learn to train the way Darebee suggests, learn the basics, and then you can continue as you prefer.
And welcome :)
