Back to exercising at a more sensible time today:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Leg Raises done (3 sets of 10),
Huntress done (3 sets with March Steps),
The Maid of Tarth done (3 sets with Knee Push-Ups),
Days 3 and 4 of Epic Hold done (Not doing that again!),
Everyday Stretching done,
Sore Feet done,
Hand Tendons done.

Yesterday was very much a mixed bag. I had volunteering, a work coach meeting and a shift at the stadium all one after the other, I was very tired when I got home over 14 hours later!
(I've also changed kiosks at the stadium, I am now deep within it's depths, not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, and I've got a new supervisor, who is a maths teacher who does casual evening work to help make ends meet, which is a very sad state of affairs).
But I also came into a tiny bit of unexpected money, so I'm going to treat myself to a trip to the seaside on Friday to join a group walking event, I'm really looking forward to it!

Today has been good so far. The lady I help in the community cafe on Wednesdays is still feeling rather poorly, and I ended up throwing together a homemade Parsnip and Carrot soup for about 50 people all by myself. I was kinda annoyed at first (We usually keep it fairly simple and use canned soup and the like), since the ones that suggested it weren't the ones who were going to be making it, but I had fun and everybody liked the soup, so wins all round.
Going to take it easy for the rest of the day and recover from yesterday, see y'all tomorrow!

Kudos to you for getting through all of that @aku-chan ! And congratulations on the success of your soup! Homemade soup is a lot of work, I know. I find myself resistant to making them often, even though I love them, especially now that I have such a small kitchen with not enough work space. So I definitely understand your frustration. But it is so much better than canned soup! I am sure it was a real treat to the people you were serving. I hope you have a great trip on Friday!

Thanks! @Laura Rainbow Dragon - I prefer making homemade soup myself, but I'm not very confident at cooking without a recipe, so I was pretty flustered at being put on the spot like that, but it worked out, people were coming back for second, even third, helpings (I made a lot!).

Morning exercises:-

Universal Warmup done,
8 Twist Reverse Lunges done (These confused my poor brain so much!)
Helix done (3 sets),
Grit And Grace done (3 sets with Step Jacks),
Day 5 of Epic Hold done,
Stretched done,
Happy Feet done,
Hand Mobility done.

One day I'm going to need to put together an actual workout playlist, Push It To The Limit followed by My Immortal was a weird combination today.

Got a busy few days ahead, so today is a chore day, see y'all tomorrow!

Evening exercises today:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Squat Jacks done,
Sitting Pretty done (3 sets),
Tough Cookie done (3 sets, with regular Planks and very messy Side Planks),
Day 6 of Epic Hold done,
Hip Flexors done,
Footwork done,
Talk to the Hand done.

I had a lot of fun on my group hike, and did about 7 miles through a combination of seaside town, countryside and marshland, the weather wasn't great but it didn't rain until I was on the train home. A surprising amount of people turned up for it (There were about 40 of us), also surprisingly, I was the youngest one there by at least a good 10 years.
They do a different route each month, so I will try and do it when I can afford to (The walks themselves are free, it's just the getting there).

Thanks! @TopNotch

Afternoon exercising today:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Count Boat Pose Hold done,
Onna-Bugeisha attempted (2 sets. So hard! Even after dropping the Workout of the Day and modifying where I could, this one was just too much for me),
Day 7 of Epic Hold done,
Superhero Stretch done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Keyboard Warrior done
Second shift at the hospital completed, still very chaotic (They were very confused when I showed up this morning, because the split shift I was on doesn't really exist  ), and no one seems to particularly like anyone else. Luckily, just keeping my head down and getting on with the job is my speciality, so I should be fine.
Making Curried Sausages for dinner (It's an Aussie classic apparently), see y'all tomorrow!

Ending the week with some morning exercises:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Knee-to-elbows done,
Micro Shred done (With lots of little breaks),
Virago done (Heavily modified though),
Day 8 of Epic Hold done,
Hamstring Stretch done,
Sore Feet done,
Wrist Mobility done.

The Curried Sausages turned out really nice, going to try and eat the leftovers for lunch (I don't normally eat lunch so my poor body will be confused!).

Two whole weeks since I last used Reddit, and I don't really miss it (I do miss some of the comic series I was following, but they tended to get buried under all the political and autobiographical stuff anyways), I am now woefully out of the loop on current events though.
Admittedly, I've replaced it with watching stuff on Youtube, but that's mostly crafting and painting videos, so it doesn't feel like such a waste of time.

See y'all tomorrow!

Start of a new week:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Balance Front Kicks done (I have good balance today),
Cardio: Check! done (3 sets with Step Jacks),
Day 1 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 9 of Epic Hold done,
Upperbody Stretch done,
Happy Feet done,
Wrist Pain done.

Hospital shift went a lot smoother last night, the person training me this time was a lot more laid back and actually let me do stuff myself. And I'm going to be doing just evenings now, not ideal as that's a big drop in hours, but hopefully there will be overtime in the future (One day I'll be able to afford to finish furnishing my flat!)
Checking my e-mail this morning, I realised I never did hear back from the job, even after I reached out to them, probably for the best that I wasn't successful there, if they can't be bothered to even fire off a quick generic reply.
Also the next group walk is on a Saturday! :verysadkitty:
I could possibly get back in time for work, but it's tight and the job is more important. I will have to be brave and try it solo on a day I'm not busy.

Volunteering tonight, see y'all tomorrow!

Afternoon exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Bridge Taps done,
Spartacus done (3 sets minus the Jumping Lunges),
Day 2 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 10 of Epic Hold done,
Shoulder Stretch done,
Footwork done,
Stapler done.

Another quiet morning volunteering at the community cafe (3 non-staff customers this time), at least the day wasn't as full as last Tuesday!
See y'all tomorrow!

More afternoon exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Cossack Squats done,
Artemis done (3 sets),
Day 3 of House of the Valkyrie done (I'm still locked in to my choice of Skyshield, Stormhammer and Windcore from my last attempt, so I had better stick with them!),
Day 11 of Epic Hold done,
Full Body Stretch done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Hand Tendons done.

Gotta get up extra early tomorrow for the care home job. They had actually cancelled my next shift, but they said I could still come in and get trained up on a server role, which I honestly thought was quite nice of them.
I need to try and watch the new season of live action One Piece at some point (And FROM returns for a fourth season next month), but I just don't seem to have the time to watch stuff like I used to.
See y'all tomorrow!

Yet more afternoon exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Arm Circles done,
Abs Pro done (3 sets, so tough but I got there eventually),
Day 4 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 12 of Epic Hold done (Finally managed a non-stop Plank Hold, woot! Still got a ways to go on the Squat Holds though),
Chest and Lower Back Stretch done,
Sore Feet done,
Hand Mobility done.

Tuna and Pea Pasta for dinner (The plan is to cook something on Thursdays and Fridays, so I can eat the leftovers over the weekend before I go to work), see y'all tomorrow!

Decided to have extra sleep instead of a morning workout, so afternoon exercising again:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Sumo Squats done (Replacement Exercise of the Day, that FitTap page is so useful!),
Killer Legs done (3 sets),
Day 5 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets, chose the Stone Path),
Day 13 of Epic Hold done (Got a bit wobbly at the end, but a full 60 second Squat Hold managed, I'm on a roll! :dkitty:),
Arms and Shoulders Stretching done,
Happy Feet done,
Talk to the Hand done.

Silly hospital job! Yesterday they emailed me a link to a new starter form they wanted me to fill out, including details of a reference who has known me for at least two years (I've mentioned before that this is a big problem for me because I don't really know anybody), I completed most of it, but left the reference bit blank while I figured out what to do. This afternoon, they emailed me again thanking me for completing the form (I've looked and even the link is gone now, it just says "Hired" instead).
Sigh, all that panic for nothing! :dizzy:

Today was a Housemate visiting day, she was happy to see me for a good 20 minutes or so before her mood flipped, so I'm taking that as a win (Plus the train station had some paper maps of walks in the area, so I can tackle them without using that power-hungry app).
Chicken Rice for dinner tonight, my meal plan got a little derailed because I forgot my Tuna Pea Pasta recipe only really makes enough for one hungry person (And I don't think it would reheat well anyways), so I need to figure out something for the weekend.
See y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @AgileGrrl - I think they just wanted my bank details but use the one form for everything, but I always panic when references come up as that's been my main stumbling block when it's come to finding work (Well that and the fact there's not really entry-level jobs any more).

Morning exercises, I forgot how cold it can be :shiver::-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Count Balance Hold done (I've got good balance today),
Wreck It! done (3 sets with Power Squats and something approaching regular Push-Ups),
Day 6 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 14 of Epic Hold done,
Arms and Chest Stretching done,
Footwork done,
Keyboard Warrior done.

Last training shift at the hospital tonight, tomorrow I will sink or swim! I did get my uniform last week, so I will at least look the part.
Still got to work out dinner though, at least my Chicken Rice made enough for Sunday.
Finally managed to fit in a watch of the first episode of the new season of live action One Piece and it was glorious! Last season's success has given them the confidence to really go all in on the cartoonyness, hopefully I'll have time to watch another later.

See y'all tomorrow!

Finishing off the week with some more morning exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Calf Raises done,
Easy Abs attempted (2 sets),
Day 7 of House of the Valkyrie attempted (2 sets),
Day 15 of Epic Hold done,
Neck and Shoulders Stretching done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Wrist Mobility done.

My back really did not like exercising today, so I only pushed it as far as I dared.

Another hospital shift successfully completed, on yet another different ward with a completely different way of doing things. It's not rocket science, so I have cobbled together a decent idea of what I should be doing when I'm working solo, but you would think such a large organisation would standardise the heck out of everything.
I also need to return my uniform trousers, apparently I've gone down another size, I just hadn't noticed because I usually wear a belt.
And I need to sort out dinner arrangements, I was so hungry on the way home I couldn't resist the siren song of the kebab shop, and I am not earning kebab shop money at the moment!
See y'all tomorrow!

Starting the new week with slightly late morning exercises (I was tired so I had some extra sleep):-

Universal Warmup done,
50 Elbow Clicks done,
Scout done (3 sets with March Steps),
Day 8 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 16 of Epic Hold done,
Top to Bottom done,
Sore Feet done,
Wrist Pain done.

Apparently I hadn't quite finished my hospital job training (I guess weekend people get a little more because otherwise they would get less than half the training of the weekday people), but they did ask if I felt like I knew what I was doing and I said yes, so maybe next week I'll be starting properly.
See y'all tomorrow!
