Thanks! @CODawn @Lady Celerity @PETERMORRIS966 @JCU @Anek @TopNotch - Now the weather is nicer I do want to try and get out into the countryside at least once a month.

I had a terrible headache by the time I left work today, so after a bit of a nap we're doing some evening exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
Day 25 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets I chose the Endurance Path),
Day 8 of Action Hero done,
Sore Feet done,
Hand Mobility done.

Going to get a little something to eat and then it's back to bed for me, good thing I don't do these super early mornings too often, see y'all tomorrow!

Hope the headache has gone away.

Thank you, it did after my nap.
I wasn't feeling too chirpy going into work, but something made it a million times worse (I think the leftovers from the old folks boozy lunch reacted with the cleaning chemicals I was using! :dizzy: ).

A much more uneventful day at work today, so some afternoon exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
Day 26 of House of the Valkyrie done,
Day 9 of Action Hero done,
Happy Feet done,
Talk to the Hand done.

Picked up a few more shifts at the care home, with even more promised in future (I'm filling in for a lady who goes back to her home country for a few months every year, I'm surprised they keep her job open for her, but it works out well for me!), it finally gave me an excuse to drop the volunteer work on Tuesdays in the community cafe too, so winning all round today.
See y'all tomorrow!

@NancyTree - It was!

Morning exercises today:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Split Lunges (EotD) done,
Punchy (Replacement WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 27 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets, a low impact version, the Valkyries will be so disappointed in me!),
Day 10 of Action Hero done (I'm finding this pretty tough already, no idea how I'll handle the final week),
Everyday Stretching Light done,
Footwork done,
Keyboard Warrior done.

Grocery shopping later, and an Indian Spiced Cottage Pie for dinner, see y'all tomorrow!

More morning exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Hooks (EotD) done,
Lower Body Works (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 28 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 11 of Action Hero done,
Everyday Stretching done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Wrist Mobility done.

Yesterday was good. They had finished renovating the cafe in the supermarket so I treated myself to an Iced Raspberry Chocolate and some Tiramisu French Toast (Both were very yummy), and my Cottage Pie worked well with the plant-based mince (That stuff is amazing! You can't form it into things, so I can't make burgers or meatballs with it, but it's replacing meat mince for everything else from now on).
I also watched Weapons, quite a good film somewhat let down by the ending (I'm not sure if I was supposed to find the last 5 minutes or so as oddly funny as I did, but it did take me out of the film a bit).

Got a quiet day of chores ahead with (Mostly) homemade Cheese and Onion Pasties for dinner (I'm too lazy to make my own pastry!), see y'all tomorrow!

OMG, everything sounds delicious!!!!!

Also, congrats on finishing the renovation. I hope your chores are light and you get time to rest.

Thanks! @LiteraryMatcha - I do like my food!

More morning exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 High Crunches (EotD) done,
Steady Steps (Replacement WotD) attempted (2 sets),
Day 29 of House of the Valkyrie attempted (2 sets of Skyshield and Stormhammer),
Day 12 of Action Hero attempted (2 sets).

Just was not in an exercising mood this morning, it seemed to be taking forever to do them, I keep losing track of what I was doing and was overall not enjoying myself, so I called it a day after two sets.

Is it me or is the world just generally becoming less helpful? Amazon has lost an item they were sending me, but rather than refund me or send a replacement, they've just set the delivery date to unavailable and... That's it. :excuseme:
Something to try and sort out before I go to work, see y'all tomorrow!

I would also like your food :tears: .

Kudos on the work done.

Perhaps I'm being pedantic or meddling , but I'd argue that you didn't "attempt" the workouts you stated.
You literally did them. You showed up.
Perhaps you wanted to do more sets, but that doesn't make your workouts less valid.

You also had the wisdom to listen to your body and adjust the workout accordingly.
Honestly, that should be honoured.

And yeah. The world seems to be in a constant state of crisis and unreliability. Especially lately. Let's hope things get better soon.

Have a good day and a good shift. I hope your day goes easily.

No, it not you. We've had this same problem with Amazon.😾

Thanks! @LiteraryMatcha - I get what you mean, but my brain still sees it as an incomplete workout.

@CODawn - Luckily it was easily solved once I contacted their customer service rep (Who was totally a real person and not a chatbot ;)), I was just quite surprised I had to initiate fixing their mistake. I don't order from them much these days (The free shipping threshold got too high), but I used to because they were pretty customer friendly.

Missed yesterday, it was a double shift day so I just didn't have the time.
Back at it today though:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Leg Raises (EotD) done (So tough! But I got there eventually),
Cardio Melt (WotD) done (3 sets with Step Jacks),
Day 30 of House of the Valkyrie done (Replacing more Jacks with Step Jacks but I earned my 3rd feather),
Day 13 of Action Hero done,
Stretched done,
Sore Feet done,
Wrist Pain done.

Got a nice, quiet day ahead. I have a telephone interview later for a potential fourth job (It's just more casual kitchen work, but it would hopefully mean less gaps when I'm not working), and, since the Community Kitchen is still out of bounds, the new lady in charge of the Community Meals program is ordering in Fish and Chips (Which I think is a horrendous waste of money, but I'm not going to say no :noming:).
See y'all tomorrow!

You spoke to an actual human at Amazon??? I'm amazed, it is really difficult to circumvent the Chatbot thread.

@GentleOx - It was very nice, still can't condone blowing 5 times our usual budget on them though!

@Lady Celerity - No, I'm pretty sure they were still a chatbot, just one pretending to be a person.

Busy day at work, so a little bit of afternoon exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
Day 31 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 14 of Action Hero done,
Happy Feet done,
Stapler done.

I did something dramatic and got my hair cut today for the first time in about 30 years. All the hairnets I have to wear these days was making it increasingly unmanageable, plus, if we're being honest, it's been too thin and scraggly to pull off the long hair look for at least a couple of years.
But now my head is cold.

Plus, I'm getting some fixed hours at my care home job starting next month! :shine:
It's only 6 hours every other Monday, but it's a start and it's on top of whatever casual work I do for them.
So I'm celebrating by having pizza for dinner, see y'all tomorrow!

You're thinking ahead. You'll be the one laughing when the warm weather fully settles and the crisp evening wind refreshes your head.

Congrats!!! that's awesome!!!! As you say, it is a start, and from there, perhaps they can keep increasing it, if that's what you want.

Enjoy your well deserved pizza!

Thanks! @LiteraryMatcha

I missed yesterday, I meant to do some exercising but put it off when I got home, I was tired and hungry, and just never got around to it, I need to work on my consistency!
On to today:-

Universal Warmup done,
20 Hero Squats (EotD) done,
Core Lock (WotD) done,
Day 32 of House of the Valkyrie done,
Day 15 of Action Hero done,
Superhero Stretch done,
Foot work done,
Hand Tendons done.

Got my 2nd stage interview for some more casual kitchen work later, then it's Taco Pasta for dinner and watching my shows (I'm getting a bit more successful about keeping on top of them, now I just need to find the time to work through my backlog), see y'all tomorrow!

Perhaps your body was asking for some rest. Next time you exercise you will probably perform better or enjoy it more.

I got up a little too late to exercise before visiting the Housemate (Still a grumpy pants), so doing some afternoon exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
Day 33 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets of Skyshield and Stormhammer),
Day 16 of Action Hero done,
Hamstring Stretch done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Hand Mobility done.

Yesterday's interview went well, but there was a lot of emphasis on cookery skills (Particularly baking) so I suspect the job will go to someone with more kitchen experience, but you never know.
Since the weather is so nice today, I decided to try out a new walking app on the way home. This one focuses more on just getting you out there and walking rather than proper hiking like the other one, and took me on a nice meander between the train station and the bus station (Could've done without seeing a naked fat man taking pictures of himself though :saywhat:).
It can also use AI to randomly generate different length walks wherever you are, I haven't tried that out yet, but if it works I'm definitely going to be adding a walk to days when I'm not working.
See y'all tomorrow!

@LiteraryMatcha - Admittedly, he was on his balcony, so it was my own fault for looking, but I think naked selfies really should be an indoor activity.

Morning exercise time:-

Universal Warmup done,
5 Plank Walk-Outs (EotD) done,
Cardio Sculpt (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 34 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 17 of Action Hero done,
Upperbody Stretch done,
Sore Feet done,
Talk to the Hand done.

Finally finished the first season of Sailor Moon, I'd forgotten just how good a show it could be (Especially the last handful of episodes), going to take a bit of a break before moving on to season 2, but now I've got to figure out what to watch instead.
Being sensible and not doing a double work shift today (That's tomorrow and next Saturday ), so I'm going to try and get this place tidy, see y'all tomorrow!

Haven't managed to find the time to exercise for the last couple of days (Sleeping for 14 hours on Monday didn't help!), determined to do at least a little bit after work today:-

Universal Warmup done,
Day 35 of House of the Valkyrie done,
Day 18 of Action Hero done,
Full Body Stretch done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Hand Tendons done.

Now it's time to make dinner (It's Moroccan Chicken tonight), see y'all tomorrow!

Didn't quite get up as early as I wanted to (I think I'm going to have to accept that 10+ hours of sleep on my days off is the price I have to pay for those 4am work mornings), but at least I've got time for some exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Count Bear Plank Hold (EotD) done,
Ab Forge (WotD) done (3 sets),
Day 36 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 19 of Action Hero done,
Chest and Lower Back Stretching done,
Sore Feet done,
Hand Mobility done.

Only got a late afternoon meeting with my Work Coach today (Let's see if they're happy with my extra hours, or if they'll continue their relentless push to get me into full-time work), so I'm going to work on catching up with my shows, see y'all tomorrow!

Managed to get up early-ish today, yay!
Exercises:-

Universal Warmup done,
40 Jumping Step Jacks (EotD) done,
Squat and Co (WotD) done (3 sets with the Jumping Squats replaced with Power ones),
Day 37 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 20 of Action Hero attempted (1 set. Got a bit of an achy back this morning and it did not like this one),
Arms and Shoulder Stretching done,
Happy Feet done,
Talk to the Hand done.

Only task today is to apply for the jobs my Work Coach picked out for me (They were not as impressed with my increased hours as I'd hoped), I wouldn't mind, but she's still not reading the whole ads, so over half of them require experience and skills I don't have or they're not public transport friendly
Going to cheer myself up by giving my AI walking app a try, just generate the longest route it can come up with and see how well it does. With it being AI I'm expecting it to lead me into a few dead-ends, but you never know it may actually work!
Double shift tomorrow, so I'll see y'all Sunday!

Finishing off the week with some exercise:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Jump Power Squats (EotD) done,
Ab Crunch (WotD) attempted (2 sets, too many Crunches!),
Day 38 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets),
Day 21 of Action Hero done,
Arms and Chest Stretching done,
Footwork done,
Keyboard Warrior done.

Went on a nice 11.7km walk on Friday, the app worked surprisingly well, the directions it gives are very hit and miss, but the actual route map it generates is good and easy to follow. As expected, it did lead me to a couple of dead ends, but neither time was really it's fault (There was some construction work I had to detour around, and at another point a small footbridge was out, so I had to do a little bit of wading!), so definitely going to be using that whenever I'm not busy.

Yesterday was a long day. It was the final match day at my stadium job, so we were about 10 times busier than usual (We ran out of beer and food on multiple occasions!), and then I had to go straight to my hospital job. :exhausted:
Fortunately, no more double shift days for a while, I've just got the hospital job this evening, so I'm going to have a lazy day until then. See y'all tomorrow!

Thank you for the Happy Birthdays everyone!

@LiteraryMatcha - I'm not sure who it's by, but I'm quite far from Bristol so I doubt it's an Inkie.

Did a little bit of after work exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
Day 39 of House of the Valkyrie done (3 sets of Skyshield and Stormhammer),
Day 22 of Action Hero done,
Neck and Shoulders done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Wrist Mobility done.

Had a birthday treat of Kebab and Cheesy Chips (Plus Chocolate Ice Cream) for dinner, now I feel very sleepy so I'm going to have a quiet evening, see y'all tomorrow!

Happy Birthday again! Hope you’re having a lovely day and getting to celebrate with your loved ones.

Yeah that makes sense. I only mentioned Inkie because he’s been working nationally for decades and that piece is so much like his style.
I’m just used to seeing his work all over Bristol (where he originally started decades ago), so that was my immediate mental link (wasn't trying to suggest you were there!).
He’s a bit like Banksy; he pops up wherever he pleases.

Anyway, the dinner sounds delicious. Have a lovely rest of the evening!

Thanks for more Birthday wishes everyone!

It's been a few days, came down with a really bad cold on Tuesday and it just won't go away. Figured it was time to start doing a little bit of exercising again, gotta be very light stuff though, my lungs are so full of gunk that I get out of puff very easily at the moment.

Universal Warmup done,
Outbound done (3 sets),
Rest and Rec (WotD) done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Hand Tendons done.

Last few days have revolved around going to work and then collapsing into bed straight as soon as I got home, but I was good and voted in the local elections on Thursday (Even though it was as pointless as I feared, the apathy of my fellow Lefties disappoints me yet again).
Was hoping I'd be feeling better before it was time for my Hospital job, I'm technically not supposed to go in if I'm sick, but as I don't get sick pay they're stuck with me and my germs, I'll just have to try very hard not to cough over anyone.
See y'all tomorrow!

Thanks! @Mianevem @JCU

Another morning of light exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
2 Minute Abs (WotD) done,
Steady Steps done (3 sets),
Neck and Shoulders done,
Sore Feet done,
Hand Mobility done.

I was successful in my mission not to cough over anyone (Or their food) at work last night. Hopefully, tonight goes just as well.
One good thing about this cold is that it got me back on the reading wagon. My book reading (Though, sadly, not my book buying) had petered out when I was trying to power through the Einshorn Omnibus (The print was small enough to give me eye-strain, I think I need the prescription on my glasses looked at.). Currently I'm reading Clive Barkers Books of Blood, or possibly re-reading as a few of the stories seem familiar, but that doesn't matter as Clive Barkers stuff is always pretty good (Except his attempts at following up on Hellraiser, those were very disappointing).
See y'all tomorrow!

Start of a new week, let's see if I can manage a bit of exercising every day:-

Universal Warmup done,
30 Squat Hold Calf Raises (EotD) done,
Infinity (WotD) done (3 sets with Step Jacks),
Top to Bottom done,
Happy Feet done,
Talk to the Hand done.

Successfully completed another hospital shift (Even though it was stinky Fish Pie day and it was trying it's hardest to make me cough!), back to volunteer work today for what feels like the first time in ages.
See y'all tomorrow!

A little bit of after work exercising today:-

Universal Warmup done,
The Walk done,
Saitama done (3 sets),
Neck done,
Footwork done,
Keyboard Warrior done.

Still having to take it easy due to all the stuff on my chest, but it seems to be clearing up slowly.
Got a job interview tomorrow, it's at the place that ghosted me last time they interviewed me, so probably a complete waste of time, but my work coach insisted I give them another try.
See y'all tomorrow!

Got home just in time, so much rain at the moment!
Anyways exercising:-

Universal Warmup done,
10 Cossack Squats (EotD) done,
Adira done (3 sets),
Fighter's Stretching done,
Ankle Recovery done,
Wrist Mobility done.

Interview didn't good as well this time, they remembered me from last time, so it had me second guessing my answers a lot because I was worried I was repeating myself and it would all come off feeling very rehearsed.
On the other hand, they wouldn't have interviewed me again if they didn't think I was a suitable candidate, so we'll just have to wait and see.
See y'all tomorrow!
