ETA : this is just one article so only one report / opinion of the event, but I thought the media would be well-enough known that people can read it smartly.
We got an Israel/France soccer match coming next week in St Denis, just north of Paris (where my offices actually are), so that got everybody very worried for the supporters's safety.
Hugs to all, and as @Gandhalfit says, luck for the peacemakers.

Wat uw situatie ook is: reis er niet heen. Het is er te gevaarlijk. (From August 5, 2024, the color code of the travel advice for all of Israel will be red. Whatever your situation: do not travel there. It is too dangerous.)
It is far, far more dangerous where you are than anywhere in Canada, pretty much anywhere in the United States, and pretty much anywhere in Europe.
You suggest that western countries somehow need "luck" to be peaceful. But it's your country that is at war with your neighbours.
Whoever has been telling you that Europe and North America are somehow less peaceful or less safe than Israel is lying to you.
