How to start

Hey there. I've known Darebee for a long time, but never managed to keep up with it. I'm currently in that phase of life in which I'm recovering from an illness but the doctors gave me green light to slowly start exercising again. The only problem is that I don't really know where to start. I can't do any squats or any exercise that puts much stress on my knees, and I gotta be careful with my liver. Any ideas on how to start exercising again?

Foundation Light program
The Foundation Light is a low impact 100% bodyweight based fitness program perfect for anyone with joint issues, recovering from an injury or is heavily overweight. [...] . This program doesn't contain any high impact exercise, lunges or planks in any form - everything is done standing up with low or no pressure on the joints. It will be perfectly suitable for rehabilitation as well as a general fitness journey starting point.

These level I programs would be a good bet, and skip the squats / replace them with some other exercise (may I suggest forward folds or child's pose for gentle stretching) ? For your knees, balance may be nice too - maybe replace the squats with X seconds tree pose (adapt X to your level) ? You will manage it! Bee hugs
