Hi @neilarey , hi darebees! Greetings from Spain.

I'm back home after two nights in the hospital following my unexpected midday blood pressure drop.
Physically and psychologically, I'm feeling fine and resting after being discharged.

Emotionally (although I hide it), I'm sad and angry at the same time, seeing how my challenge of reaching two years of uninterrupted training ended up being cut short this past Tuesday.
On the positive side, I set a new personal record, surpassing the more than 200 days of my former Darebee user.

I'm going to be away from training and challenges for a few weeks.
I'll gradually return to the 2-year challenge. I only hope that the nightmare of this past Tuesday (May 20, 2025) doesn't again derail the goal I set out to pursue.

I said it on YouTube, and I'll say it here.
My apologies for this terrible disappointment I just experienced.

I'll come back stronger and more ambitious to push my limits.

Best regards to everyone, and see you later.

Good luck to all of you pursuing this goal. And especially to those of you in the final stretch.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm glad you're doing okay and got discharged okay. I know that this is incredibly frustrating, and that's 100% fair, but I think you're still doing an amazing job. And you'll be able to do even better this time around. But I hope you don't blame yourself. Life happens, and it f'ing sucks, but you are moving forward and I think that's what really counts. I wish you the best of luck.

Hi Darebees & Darebee team.
I'm back, slowly but steadily.

For now, I'm only going to train with the "Gladiator" training plan. The challenges I was doing (until that unexpected incident) will return in July (after the "Fitness Test" on the first of the month).
I know that in the two weeks I've been off, I gained 1 kg; however, I'm still under 100 kg and 4 kg away from dropping below 90.

I've lowered the intensity, time, and amount of exercises (as recommended by you, the Darebee team).
I also split up my workouts, as I just did today (Wednesday), but I prefer to do a full session in the afternoon (all at once), as I did during my failed 2-year challenge.

My body is capable of doing much more, with everything I've learned (over the years) and continue to learn in the hive.

The 2-year challenge remains up in the air.

I know I'll try again until I succeed. I don't mind restarting on the first day of 2026.

Take care of yourselves. See you in July.

Hi Darebees! "Nice" summer :phew:

I was stopping by to say hello and hope you have a happy summer vacation (winter in the Southern Hemisphere).
Of course, without stopping training.

New month, new horizons... but the same goal.
I can't keep being afraid of relapsing into another fainting spell, injury, or any other mishap, after all the work I've done in my 505 days that (until that incident) kept me focused on my goal of reaching two years of uninterrupted training without stopping.

This past Tuesday (July 1st), I took the fitness test again to see how much I've improved. I'm still far from level 3; but I'm not giving up and I'll try for the first day of 2026.

I'm back to the challenges, but now I alternate them with the workout programs. I'm resetting the clock back to zero (for the annual challenge), if only to close out this year.

Those two years, that gold medal... in time, it will come to my showcase of achievements.

Congrats on 505 days! That's awesome. I think it's admirable that you still have fears (and valid ones, IMO), but you're pushing forward nonetheless. That's great. :)
