Is it considered cheating if one does a Challenge twice in one day and count it towards 2 seperate days? Such as doing day 14 in the morning and day 15 in the afternoon.

A little devil is wondering. :tap:

Yeah, this is Darebee. You can pretty much do what you like. Sticking to programmes and such will get you the best results, but swapping a day here or there, doubling up or missing a day, it's all very forgivable - and I don't mean by us, but by your body. Currently I'd adapting the leg day of PPL, but I'm still working on completing the programme, and still thinking that I'm doing the programme. Small changes are inevitable because things happen - or you're feeling particularly frisky one day. Just enjoy it; don't stress about it. That's no fun.

It isn't really possible to "cheat" at DAREBEE. Everyone completes all work to the best of their ability. If your best was missing a day and then doubling up the next day to catch up, well then, that's cool. Lots of people here do that. Other people just accept that they missed a day and that the Challenge will then take them an extra day to complete. Either approach is accepted here.

Challenges and Programs are designed such that you do something every day because that approach provides the best training benefit and also is the best way to make fitness a habit. But everyone has a day here or there on which they don't, for whatever reason, complete their full usual training.

The only suggestion I would make re: missed days on Challenges and/or Programs is that, if you miss a lot of days in a row, it's probably a good idea to start the Challenge or Program over from the beginning. This is because most of them are progressive. You get stronger as you work through the program and thus better able to handle the increased load near the end. But if you take multiple days off, you will lose conditioning and perhaps no longer be able to complete the harder workouts near the end of the program safely. If it's just one missed day, however, don't stress over it. Just get back on the horse and keep going.
