Hello Hive,
I’m here. again. I changed my profile, so this one is quite empty but I was here long ago and even longer ago. Never really stopped doing exercise all the time, but there was a smallish cancer operation and, after that, an operation on my hand that really slowed me down.
I just completed the momentum program (mostly on level III) and the most delightful experience because of that today. I was on the playground with my daughter ( I’m a single dad for the most time) and she wanted to play hide and seek. She went up a wooden play tower. two, three, four stories high… I was supposed to follow her up ... a wonderful game. But the tower is designed for kids so it’s hard for me to duck under bars, jump up stairs, walk steep stairs… I vividly remembered how I had difficulties with exactly the same activity - climbing up this tower - a couple of months ago. I felt like an old man (which I actually am ;-) )
And today it was far from easy but I felt the agility in my arms and legs, the renewed power, the possibility to simply muscle my way up and up … I credit momentum. Sure, it was me who did the program, but it was really cleverly designed to keep one motivated. Great! I’m so thankful to the darebee team!
Tomorrow morning , I think, I will start total-body-strength on level III.
Thanks, everybody, for being here!
Cheers, Martin
