Yesterday was a great day.

Had the BEST time, omg.

My reboss is my favorite person so much. Just a very positive meeting and a nice dinner.

I got to sit in between my reboss and the president with the nutjob's husband (who used to be the super star sales rep at my current company) in front of me.

Best seat in the house. :tears::u::cool:

Only have time to pop on real quick to update yesterday, so I can get today's workout done.

Have a great day everyone!

:Thank you @Syrius!

Today was a good day.

Went better than I thought.

I had a dentist appointment so I worked from home a couple hours in the morning, took my lunch to go to my appointment in my town, and then went in to work after.

We had extra people coming again and our roof had to get worked on a little more. They were taking 10 parking spaces for their trucks, but fortunately there was an opening when I got there.

So caught up reasonably from missing yesterday.

Miyagi was so cute when I got home yesterday. He was sleeping on my side of the bed by my husband, but he came to greet me excitedly and get brushies.

We had a good night, but for some reason today he wanted to wake me up 15+ minutes before I would get up.

So my husband is on the couch, and he's watching out the window right next to him.

He decides he wants to go out so he excitedly comes to wake me up to go open the door for him.

Even though my husband was right there.

So I had to laugh, tend to him for a few minutes, then I did go back to bed for that extra 7 minutes I had left.

Cats! :tears:

Thank you everyone! :tuzki-love:

Friday was a good day and his weekend has been nice.

Friday was a bit hectic starting from the moment I got in, lots of issues popped up, but again plowed through them, so still a good day.

Got a new monthly thing to do for my re-boss. One part involved me needing to decipher some computer product codes so I can classify things properly.

Used my other files to get most of it done, and then thankfully got to grab my re-boss who had answers for the few I couldn't figure out.

So tomorrow will go better now.

Yesterday my husband took me out for a nice brunch. Then we both spent the day playing Hello Kitty Adventure Island which just came out on the switch.

Of course now I have extra chores to get through today that I should have did yesterday. lol

I love South Park, thank you!

I used to play HKIA on a PC many years ago when Windows Vista was the current Windows.

I loved it at first, but it actually gave my laptop the Blue Screen of Death.

Also, Windows Vista took my World of Warcraft quest helper arrow away.

I stopped playing WoW after that.

Pretty sure this was around the same time as each other.

Today was a good day.

Had a few meetings, but they were good.

The program we use had some major improvements to it so things will go faster.

Then we had one of the quality meetings. The guys were lucky and had no officers at the last couple.

Re-boss came today and he pushed questions for repeat problems that needed to be done.

Then customers came later on. Finally got to put a face to someone I've been hearing about for years. Pretty sure I annoyed them introducing myself, they didn't want to talk to me, but whatever. :tears:

And I got a lot more done for my re-boss' new file. Just have to fill in missing info now. But will be pulling teeth to get the data from before me, and also my re-boss, got there. *sigh*

Today was a good day.

After lunch it became a bit oppressive and looks like the plan is for that to get worse.

Dear other people...just let me do my re-boss' stuff and leave me alone.

KTHXBAI

I told re-boss I think other people see me as a trained circus monkey.

Shocked Lucille Ball GIF

I know I sound bad, but it was still a good day.

Supposed to get some snow on the overnight and into the morning. Hoping it's not too bad.

Miyagi was going stir crazy last night. Kept waking me up.

I did pass out pretty good at one point though.

My husband said he got woken up and played for him for 1/2 hour, getting him to jump around even, while I was passed out.

Miyagi has been sleeping for awhile now...hoping that doesn't work against us later. lol

Sometimes I'm in a room where I don't belong
And the house is on fire and there's no alarm
And the walls are melting too
How about you?
I've never been the favorite, thought I'd seen it all
'Til I got my invitation to the lunatic ball
And my friends are comin' too
How about you?
Don't worry, it's all just a symptom of being human

Today was a good day.

Although it also kicked my ass, lol.

Went in three hours behind from Wednesday. But needed to do the project I got at the end of the day yesterday.

Started that at 9 after it took me an hour and a half to get through one thing from my main job that had to be done.

Anywho, the new project regarding inventory tracking and directing someone else what they should use took me 5 FREAKING HOURS STRAIGHT.

Less maybe 40 minutes across this to do another thing for my main job and then people were having lots of conversations today. Tuned them out as best I could, but not going to complain since everyone was happy reminiscing about things.

I didn't take lunch until I got this thing done as other people have to do stuff after.

My retinas were burning. And there will be more than this, but I hope I get a few days break.

Unfortunately my "entry level" main job is just piling up and it's scaring me. It's also not worth it to do on my own time.

If I'm going to volunteer my time, it will be for projects I feel like doing. Since there's no incentive for it.

But on the positive, the precipitation didn't start quite on time, so Miyagi was out longer on the overnight. Which was good as he passed out before I left when it was happening.

Just icy in the morning and then it turned to rain and washed away. Was happy to be safe on my commutes and going in when it was bad, very few people were out.

Now I need to get off the computer, I've had my fill today. lol

See you mentioned your eyes, just, be careful. I've always had dry eyes; but always forgot about the drops because, you know, life, and dry eyes are a part of daily dyscomfort and so on... Well, my ophtalmologist was really not happy about my cornea last visit (3 weeks ago), and now I got eyelid cleaning to do twice daily + a special eyedrop for which I have to go to a special hospital (hospital-only preparation). Urgh. There is way worse, but I didn't need that additional "self-care".

Thank you for the reminder, @PetiteSheWolf! I do keep drops on me, and I probably should have used them. I did feel better after taking the break once I was done. If the jog wasn't a fair amount of my burned calories and daily steps, I would have probably skipped lunch like I used to. So extra glad I have this working out habit going for me.

Friday was a good day and this weekend was fantastic.

Friday I did get overwhelmed very early on. My boss again talking to me about getting a new rep just for his stuff, but in the south. Which would mean I would need to organize all of that other guy's crap as well. And boss forgot to tip me adequately at Christmas, so I'm just hearing that I'm going to be doing double that work for nothing.

So he was talking for a bit and a girl from the other plant is coming at me or the inventory thing making me think I overlooked stuff, when in the end I did not, she just did not follow my instructions through to the end.

So I was overwhelmed as she emailed me on 5 things while my boss is talking, I'm finally getting to answering the first one and then our Outlook of course is going down through this. The girl calls me and I'm trying to explain that i need time to research everything she's asking about and I'm just getting to that.

Then about 30 seconds after that call, my re-boss called me in to go over this thing and I regret I chewed his ear off a little bit.

Not so much his thing, but I did say the girl needs to give me time to respond as I have to look line by line. Was about the hiring another person. Boss couldn't afford to tip me well, but he can afford to hire another person to make a lot more money than me...hmmm.

He calmed me down and there is a board meeting next week. He will bring things up. There are other things that were not finalized yet that I just assumed were dropped so maybe it is not so bad.

So hoping I didn't shoot myself in the foot, but I did feel better after venting. Of course not being able to handle a tiny bit a stress to a person who does an insane amount more than I do can not be a good look for me.

Time will tell, I'm just going to try harder not to let things bother me. As they say, angels fly because they keep things light.

A half good thing, although it was an annoying thing, was that in trying to solve a problem I was having with labels for samples I needed to send out, I got a lot of extra steps in for jogging back and forth to the color printer in accounting a whole bunch of times. Took me 40 minutes to get things right, but at least I did.

Then after my late lunch, things were chill again where I could breathe.

Yesterday my husband took me to Hell's Kitchen for a birthday dinner (it's tomorrow). Had a really great time, he got me a table right in front of the kitchen area, so like a front seat.

Of course there is no yelling or drama in the non-TV kitchen, lol. But it was all really good food and drinks.

I also got all of my Saturday chores done yesterday before we left, so no carry over into today at least.

Making a pasta bake or dinner tonight, should be good. :ss:
