Congratulations on completing the Cardio Challenge!

I'm happy you had a nice house-warming party. For me, hosting my friends in a new place is what makes it feel like a home.

Thank you again for the beautiful photos. The first bird I recognize. We have House Sparrows too. (Introduced to North America in the 19th century, back when humans still thought moving wild animals around the planet and introducing them into completely foreign habitats was a good idea.) But what is the woodpecker? iNaturalist thinks perhaps a Great Spotted? Also: the bovid is so cute! Is it a young animal?

Thank you!

It felt really nice to have people over and have the house filled with nice vibes. I also realised that I know so many very nice people, it really warmed my heart (and the room, I had to close Pico in a bedroom to open the garden door); I've been a bit absent because of this move and work and stuff. But the whole living room was full.

Yes, it is a great spotted woodpecker. It's the most common one here. And also least hiding. We also have the European green woodpecker (Picus viridis) and black woodpecker (Dryocopus martius), but they are often hiding a bit deeper in the forest. The middle and lesser spotted woodpecker are very uncommon to spot, I think I saw the middle one only once, and the lesser never.

The bovid was a calf indeed 😊

I fell a bit off the wagon. I was so tired of work, demotivated, had only short time for my workout and then the duration of the total was also discouraging. Especially the abs challenge was taking more and more time.
So I decided to pick up with only the 1 min cardio challenge and finish Spellbound, and leave all the rest. I made a new workout plan and so far it seems to work for me. I'm trying to catch up with everyone, but I'm way behind.. So I'll try bit by bit.

Monday March 10th
  • Walk 4.32 km
  • 1 min cardio challenge day 21, squat hold punches
  • Spellboundchapter 29
    • Cast armor II and Multiplication
    • Cast Transmutation (dice 5+6)
    • Cast Healing I
    • Charged & Cast Morale Boost
Tuesday March 11th
  • Walk 910 meters (just a short stroll after work)
  • 1 min cardio challenge day 22, lunges with twists
  • SpellboundChapter 30
    • Cast dragon armor
    • Cast Time stop
    • Cast Fire Wave
    • Charged & Cast peacemaker
Wednesday March 12th
  • 1 min cardio challenge day 23, Windmills
  • Spellbound Chapter 31 :completed:I have done every spell in the book!
