Hello All, I come to you seeking wisdom and advice. Due to complications with my diabetes, I am in the beginning stages of surgery for below-the-knee amputation of the right leg. Before surgery, I want to try and get into the habit of exercising in hopes to shed weight to make my Physical Therapy and After Care easier.

My question is this:
My Doctor has stated that I am not to put weight on my foot. What sort of Exercises or Which Program is a good place to start this process?

There is a program of sitting exercises:
It can be a good way to start getting into the habit of moving around a bit :)
