Hello!!! :hi:

Happy Sunday, everyone!
I am having an easy day today. I am forcing myself to have an easy day more like :standby: I tend to be go-go-go all the time - and that's how I burn out. Next week will be hard so I am on mandatory day off today :eager: I've ben feeling particularly good lately - about my work, my fitness, my daily life... Is this what the 40s are like??? YES PLEASE. Nothing has changed. How I feel about it all has.

I started my day with my usual morning routine (sleep score 93! hell yeah!) minus resistance training. Like I said, I am forcing myself to hold back so that I can recover.. and DO MORE STUFF with renewed enthusiasm! Muahahaha :muahaha: So it was a nice and slow start. I am getting better at ball toss - as in, I spent more time throwing and catching rather than hunting for the ball in the gym in the dark (its still dark when I am out here and I don't turn on the lights, because?... because.) My right hand is actually much worse than my left - and I am right handed. I'll start focusing on it more in the future.

Today was a good day for sauna. It's sunny but it's still VERY COLD. So it was super, super nice and it didn't tire me out like it would normally. It's probably because I haven't done it in a while. It's Sunday so afterwards I had waffles with ice-cream for breakfast and a berry smoothie. I sat on the kitchen balcony in the sun! :drink:

I follow my menu almost exactly right now simply because it's been one less thing to decide/think about. I know what I am going to make and I prep ahead, usually the day before. Right now I am in the middle of my 2-hour walk and later I'll be making burgers for lunch. We added the sourdough guide to DAREBEETS yesterday but it still needs more photos - I'll be adding them this week as I make my meals. Since we were working on the site, we also fine-tuned some of it. We've done a lot of work in the ingredients section - I am very happy with how it turned out. DAREBEETS is a side project so we work when we can on it. Whereas DAREBEE has been a full time commitment for the past 15 years  It's still important to a lot of people, important enough for us to be able to hold on! So, we carry on :love-attack:

We've been working on a super cool little program and I can't wait until it goes live. It's needs a lot of work, still... (sigh). Right now w are preparing the next Treasure Hunt for Easter :worried:

I've got some work to do while I am here so off I go. Read you later!

:lovely: happy Sunday!

Fun fact. My gym is hit by the sun a lot, in summer it become a free sauna in here.
Looks like you have nice large sliding doors to let a breeze in if one is available. Thank gawd for that small mercy. 😉
Thanks for showing me a pic of the treadmill. Looks similar, but a bit fancier, to one I was checking out a few weeks ago. My walking pad is an okay substitute until I can get rid of the dead treadmill. I have been researching my options on a replacement so its nice to hear from someone that actually owns a manual one. 😊

I totally forgot to mention (since it's not a concern for me but it's an actual BIG concern overall): IT'S VERY NOISY! So keep that in mind. It's manual so you hear ALL of the working parts.

Here, I just recorded this for you for reference (I moved my treadmill to the other side of the room btw):

That's good to know. It sounds about as loud as the slat mills the dogs are conditioned on, just with a bit more metallic sound to it. Thankfully, I usually wear headphones and listen to music, so the sound wouldn't bug me that much. Still, great info to know. 😀 Thanks!!

Hi! Hello! Hi! I am here with an update

I haven't had much time for myself lately (like, last 2 weeks) and, really, I don't have much time now either  I do stick to my morning 90 minutes like my life depends on it, though, because it probably does at this point  I dropped trampoline from my routine - I realized that was one thing too many and also, I don't have the space for it anymore after rearranging my gym. So, that's out. Everything else is the same. My ball toss go SO MUCH better. Today I only dropped the ball maybe... 5 times in total. Yay me! For reference, I used to catch it about 5 times in total to begin with :tears:

My gut is struggling with all the fiber so I had to re-arrange my menu again. And I am still tweaking it. It's pretty much oatmeal with yogurt and some kind of fruit/berry for breakfast every day except Sunday. On Sundays I have pancakes or waffles. I am going to treat myself tomorrow to pancakes with strawberries and, if I am lucky to find it, some passion fruit. I have a fruit shop literally across the road from me and they have a very large variety of fruit and vegetables there. I haven't visited in quite some time (I mostly do my shopping online) but I am hopeful that they may have some in today.

Lunch is a mixed bag, it depends on how my day unravels and I currently mealprep my dinner. I use disposable containers and make multiple batches of tofu chia pudding. Then towards the end of the day I can just grab it, add a topping (or not) and eat at my desk.

Overall, my mood is good. I am sooo, sooo happy the weather is finally getting warmer. I got to sit in the sun TWICE this week. It was glorious. I absolutely detest cold - or cool weather. I pretty much hibernate in winter. It's spring now and everything is finally coming back to life including me :welcome:

I hope everyone is having a lovely week :revolving:
Long Live The Hive! :flowerkitty:

I will see you when I see you! I do read everyone's logs almost daily. :morelove:

I am truly jealous! You have no idea. We're forecasted for snow this Thursday and Friday. 😒 Spring just won't come and stay. Glad someone is at least experiencing a seasonal change.
