My back is a tiny bit better but I'm concerned about returning to work where I sit a lot. It's getting up from a seated position that hurts. Keep taking ibuprofen and alternating between ice and heat, plus stretching. I'll get through it. :confounded:
It's raining now and the beautiful snow around the house is mostly gone. At least no shoveling! There's always something to be grateful for, right?

Back to work today! It was fairly quiet which allowed me to catch up on all my emails. My back feels better :)

I forgot to log yesterday and rushed off to chorus rehearsal. @TopNotch and I both experienced torrential downpours, though in different hemispheres. I had go unclog several outdoor drains and discovered a leak in my patio roof. 🫤

Baked potato bar potluck was yummy today. I met the roofer who's going to fix my leaky roof. Should be fairly easy to fix if we have some dry weather.

Today I was busy puttering about the house and got a ton of stuff done despite sleeping in. I even put together a little cabinet that now holds the turntable and records. It rained though so my plans for a hike were scuppered.

I wanted to see the lunar eclipse last night and I kept waking up throughout the night. Sadly, when I looked outside at the right time, it was foggy. :sus:. Oh well, I did enjoy the pictures that everyone else posted. Other than lack of sleep it was a beautiful springlike day. Another daffodil is blooming.:ss:

Is it Friday yet?? Seriously, what a long week it's been and very stressful in a lot of different ways. I had to drive to Civilization yesterday and when all was said and done put in a 16 hour day. I'm exhausted. :crawl: I decided to make up days for Girl Power Week but switched tracks just for today. Hopefully that still counts!

Friday was yet another drive to Civilization and another very long day. Today the weather was absolutely gorgeous. It's the first time in months that I've been able to go barefoot. My feet are very happy. :ss:

Another beautiful day. I've been enjoying the sunshine. Last night was the Spring Forward time change. Don't get me started on how ridiculous and unwanted the whole thing is. My state voted to end it years ago. Still waiting....

Monday after work I had a massage and took the rest of the evening off. My body feels better!
Today was a difficult day at work. Let's just say that it brought up traumatic memories I'd rather forget. Struggling a bit. I do feel better after working out though. Never give up, never surrender!

The effects of the recent time change seemed to hit everyone today. Is it mealtime? Bedtime? What time is it? Does anybody really know what time it is?


Apart from my circadian rhythm being needlessly manipulated, it was a chill day.

Did you ever have one of those days when a bunch of little things kept going wrong? :nod: That was today. Somehow I kept a Good Attitude through it all. Let's hope tomorrow is not a repeat.

Today was much better than yesterday. The students were celebrating Pi Day early (it's tomorrow, 3/14) and there was fresh homemade apple pie in the break room. It was still warm. :grab:

Yesterday I abandoned all responsibilities and went for a walk around the lake. It was a beautiful day. Today I was able to spend time in the yard and cleaned out our large fountain. The birds will be happy. 🐦🐦‍⬛

Fairly hectic today at work. It's also very warm for this time of year. I don't normally have to water the garden in March--there should be snow on the ground. Everything is bursting into bloom all at once. Pixie caught a lizard today and brought it into the house. Wasn't that considerate? :tears:

Another hectic but beautiful day. There was lots of wearing of the green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. I found a sharp tailed snake in the yard; very small and harmless, they eat slugs. Not at all like what @TopNotch experienced!

It was even warmer today than yesterday. My co workers and I are tired; there was lots of yawning going on. Sometimes I wish I could trade places with Pixie for a day:

A very busy day at work then I had a long phone appointment after. I still have chores to do.... feeling frazzled. I keep looking at last minute vacation deals online and trying to justify the cost of going somewhere (anywhere!) during Spring break. :chilling:

I woke up this morning to the sound of coyotes. The local pack was making quite a ruckus. Pixie hid under the bed.
I puttered a lot today and mostly ignored my to-do list but I still did things that needed doing like cleaning the bird feeders and fertilizing the garden. It was lovely weather :ss:
