Day 1- Hard Reset Strength

Am starting with 4kg DBs, L1. Could do 5 for the curls but I'd be dying on the lat raises.
I was thinking about trying the cardio as well but again, not quite there yet. So will just stick with my top ups.

15min walk today for top up...an actual walk, like an animal :sneaky:

:fireworks: Party! I started soma some days ago. It is challenging until now. My dumbells are 3,5 to 4,5 kg depending on daily decision. The cardio and excpecially steps are over estimated.

May I suggest ironheart as next programm if you are comfortable with dumbells
:five:to Australia - which my daughter wants to visit for work and travel next September.

I have considered Ironheart @nell , I'll pull it back out with your recommendation and stare at it again because it had dropped down the list.
September is a nice time in Australia. Not cold, not stinking hot. While fire season looks like it will be an early one this year, I'm still hopeful to get some walks in.

Day 2- Hard Reset Strength

I tried 5kgs...ditched 'em. Went back to 4kg DBs.

Topped up with 17min of stepper.
So, I dropped my step goal real low, but really achievable a week ago. The results are in. I'm averaging 1,500 more steps a day this week than with the respectable (but unachievable) goal. :move:

This was a bit boring!

Topped up with 12min stepper.

I'm working on making a cardigan for a friend and I'm approaching halfway. At this rate I might be finished by October :softz:

Topped up with 13min stepper.
It was a public holiday today :fireworks:
Spent it getting rained on and staring at rich people do horse things. Which I though was very in the spirit of the day.

I have a confession. I had not previously watched Downton Abbey. I got myself the box set and am now making my family watch it with me as I work out. We have just hit Season 2. Yes, I can't stand Lady Mary. Lady Edith is fauning and insipid and yet all of us are watching it now :nom:

Day 3
Hello, hello, hello :hello:
Today is day 92 of consistent exercise (pretty pleased with this) but day 3 of doing this :worried:

I did end migraine-ing out yesterday so am feeling about as stable as a wet bit of paper in a cyclone.
Still, onward and upward.
My balance is questionable today.
Used a combo of 4 and 3kg DB.
super proud of you for showing up for yourself and if you need any help with workout let me know! premenopause can be hard and drink water keep hydrating and go easy

Thank you @graoumia , @Anek , @Fremen , @astro_lizard , and @Silent Wolf :lovelots:

What am I starting today? I'm decided I wanted to do SOMA again...kind of.
I've got lots of workout I like but that I don't necessarily take for a spin that often. So I'm using the SOMA schedule to work through my collection (some...I got it down to 40 then shuffled so there was no picking favourites) of Darebee workouts and see how I still feel about them.

Day 1: Strength:
4kg DB

Yep, this is still fun. Renegade rows are just enjoyable and I like workouts where I don't need to make decisions.

Day 2: Cardio:

This was the full Rocky movie. As a woman with kids, star jumps is always controversial. The basic burpees had me going for a costume change because the sweat was all over the place. But then we were in the second half and it was all good again. Got to end it feeling like a bloody hero.

Day 9: Cardio:
Lvl1

I'm going to be straight with you. At Lvl1, this is not hard. The jump squats and basic burpees are diluted enough by the active rest and other exercises and the set time are nice and short! But, you do get that 'glow of achievement' feeling.
Definitely on my list to try again at Lvl2.

Day 12: Strength:
5kg + 4kg DB, Lvl 1

5kg was too ambitious, had to switch down in the second set. Spent more mental space than you may expect trying to figure out why 10 reps is so much easier than 12.
