• Basics
• I had to be home to wait on a package
• It was sunny and wonderful during those hours
• Then it rained
• 
• But! I have a cat on my lap as I write this!
• He cuddled with me last night, too
• One of two is not bad at all!
• He also was a hellion today

• The ups and downs of being a cat's human
• Good: the delivery finally came (we've been waiting 3 days)
• Happy: cuddles!

• He has climbed up the shelves before, @MadamMeow, but never that high!
• Basics
• We're back to colder weather for the next week or so
• No biking for a while
• Nobu has been on the back of the couch most of today
• I got lots of cuddles last night, though!

• He's so cute!!
• We're going through the downright weird Doctor Who episodes now
• (Poor, poor Elton and Ursula )
• It's great to discuss with my sister, though, so I'll take them!
• Good: didn't nap!
• Happy: it's fun to rewatch something after many years

• My headache was vehement about its dislike of butterfly sit ups
• Sit ups
• It's mostly manageable, but sometimes it strikes
• (Sit ups??)
• I hit a few stores to make up for the lack of high knees
• (They've disappeared lately )
• Had lunch at a restaurant we've not been to in a while
• Huge portions! No supper for me tonight
• Nobu cuddled last night, so I'm hopeful for tonight, too
• Good: found what I needed at the store
• Happy: good afternoon with my parents!

• It's been a smooth yet busy day
• My brother is almost fully moved out
• That guarantees many quiet days ahead
• I've been experimenting with bead looming and I'm figuring it out!
• It's currently tedious, but that's the size of my beads
• (tiny. very, very tiny)
• I'm going to get a size or three bigger soon
• The better loom and light will be here Monday
• (!!)
• I needed today after last night
• We watched the end of season 2
• 
• Nobu was great then and today

• My emotional support kitten!
• Good: beads are working!
• Happy: pizza for supper!

• Dad has informed me his secretary had a sinus infection some 3 weeks ago and never said anything because her symptoms were mild
• My headache responds best to Sudafed, ibuprofen, and Aleve
• There's probably a connection
• Still, I was able to do the sit-ups without pain
• Hopefully Bee will be able to help on Thursday
• Only a few cuddles last night, and the back room was open, so none yet today
• But Casper's favorite person has left, so I'm getting more attention from him!
• (Poor kitten is not happy )
• I had a quiet day, over all!
• Here's to next month!
• Good: finished everything
• Happy: I had ice cream and it was delicious!

• We had a quiet day at home with my siblings visiting

• Next month is planned and heavy on the upper body
• I'm going to need to focus on my posture with crafting and I'm hoping to bike more next month
•

• I probably could have ridden my bike today, but the weather turns again for another week
• They're predicting snow again!
• (I didn't want to feel the disappointment)
• Nobu cuddled today and didn't want me to use my hand

• (I complained so much )
• I had no cuddles last night because Nobu was upset*

• It taught us which cat is our guard, though!
• (Nobu was on my papasan when I went to sleep, when I woke up, and loafed in my doorway until I got out of bed )
• And amongst all of this, my loom will be here tomorrow
• It's been a day!
• Good: the new schedule feels very good
• Happy: I'm pretty sure this definitively claims me as Nobu's favorite!

*I posted on several local forums to see if the cat is a stray or just an outdoor cat interested in the lights; fingers crossed everything is okay

I think that cat looks too clean to be a stray, but OMG I love that cats are just coming to visit you!

Miyagi likes to rest on my husband's side of the bed after coming back in when my husband wakes up before me.

He always gets up when I do too, so I like to think he guards me then, too.

Cats just make the day better!

It's never happened before, @MadamMeow! Definitely because of Liam, but he wasn't around last year and it didn't happen then either. (Nobu made some new sounds, that's for sure!) I'm hoping someone isn't missing the little one.

My cats are grazers I feed at night, so I know when they're near me, it means love!

Even when being brats and getting into things they really shouldn't (looking at you, Casper ), they certainly do make our days better!

• Basics
• My loom finally arrived!
• It was just before supper and I couldn't get it together
• After eating and getting Dad's help, it's set for tomorrow!
• I need to figure out how to tie off the last warp better, but it's ready!
• I fell asleep on the couch with Nobu last night
• I woke up to both Casper and Nox using my legs as a cradle
• (My right foot was against my left knee and my right hip was unhappy under a 20 pound weighted blanket and 2 cats)
• Then Nobu joined me again this morning

• The lighting in the family room is quite good in the morning!
• And my day has finished with cleaning the cats' fountain when one of them threw up after a hair ball

• Cats!
• Good: delivery put me out of my misery!
• Happy: 3 cats in 1 day!

Considering Nox is his near identical twin and has more matte, soft fur, genetics are definitely wild!

Nobu is short for Shinobu, which can loosely be defined as shadow. It's to match Nox, which means night. They're both to compare to our all white Casper!

He doesn't love my attempts to get his attention, @GentleOx!

• Basics Today and Tomorrow
• Early visit to Bee, so I covered tomorrow today
• Played with my new loom!
• First attempt was an abject failure!
• ()
• The problem lies with my pens; when I first made the attempted design, the blue and purple were different
• Not so much, now
• Getting into the rhythm, I only noticed when six rows were finished
• I cut it down and will start fresh on Friday
• (The majority is white, so I was already 30 rows in )
• Every mistake is a learning experience!
• Nobu cuddled earlier and was upset my legs were crossed while crafting

• If I get him again tonight, fingers crossed I don't fall asleep on the couch. Again.
• (It's been 3 days)
• Good: made the attempt
• Happy: Bee and Tyler on the same day!

• Bee and Tyler were exceptional as always!
• Bee gave me a head massage that was heavenly
• I have some strained muscles in my left leg and glute that I didn't even mention because of the focus I needed on my upper half
• Tyler stretched those for me
• I had a decent lunch and a good nap, so it's been a good day!
• Nobu cuddled on my lap, but only half?
• He rolled himself fully off my lap, the goof!
• He then enjoyed the fire immensely

• He did join me last night and I didn't fall asleep!
• Good: productive day
• Happy: busy but calm day

• I decided last night that I was going to take today off
• So I slept in for half an hour
• (My alarm was set for an hour and my body said nope)
• I was visited by 2 cats who demanded attention
• I procrastinated on exercising
• And I have cooked nothing today
• It's been excellent!
• And! We have bought tickets to see Abigail in two weeks!
• The whole family is going, so I sincerely hope the movie is as campy as it looks
• Dad and I may be consoling everyone else otherwise
• Good: took the day
• Happy: a calm, quiet day was exactly what I needed!

• I usually wait until I can watch horror movies at home because I'm the only one to actually like them, which is frustrating when they look so good!

• First day of my cycle finally came. 4 days late
• This month's flavor is exhaustion. Yay.
• I'm writing this after a two and a half hour "nap"
• Fingers crossed that's not a staple for the next few days!
• I've had all 3 cats at various points and Casper was naughty
• In order: last night, this morning, and this afternoon

• Oh, the joys and tribulations of being a cat's human
• (That is one of the best pictures I've taken of Casper )
• Good: listening to my body
• Happy: it's been a very quiet day

• Basics Yesterday and Today
• I woke up with a massive headache, but it was much lower than it has been!
• It's moving!
• I went to 4 stores looking for 2 things and found 1
• At least I got some steps in
• I was able to find the clasps online and they'll be here on Tuesday
• Fingers crossed the expected clouds shift tomorrow for better eclipse viewing
• No nap today!
• My cuddle bug has taken to using my hand as a pillow
• I don't mind over much, but it is a little tricky at times

• And Casper decided my chest was the perfect landing spot this morning

• He's light enough I don't mind!
• (Though he could not lunge after another cat straight from there...)
• Good: no nap!
• Happy: eggs benedict for lunch!

Eclipse pictures! Well, not-pictures more like It got very dark and almost entirely silent, which we all agree was worth the experience.

• NO HEADACHE TODAY!!!
• My sinuses are draining rapidly, which isn't fun, but major progress!!
• I thought to go for a bike ride today and instead had a nap
• The temperature dropped about 10 degrees with the eclipse and though it rose again, I was very tired
• Napped on the couch and only for an hour or so
• I definitely woke up feeling mildly disoriented
• The cats didn't care one whit
• Nobu stole my hand and was adorable last night

• Good: enjoyed the eclipse experience
• Happy: sharing the eclipse with so few people made it very special

• My headache came back with a vengeance
• Anything that raises my heart rate causes intense pounding
• The absolute worst part is the lack of a bike ride
• The weather was stunning
• It is expected to rain tomorrow, but I'm hoping to get out during a break in the rain

• We took a short break from Dr Who, but we're back! With the end of Martha!
• Oh, Master, you're a dastardly fellow
• Nobu cuddled last night and gave me some exceptional pictures

• Caught up on Cardio HIIT
• My headache is still hanging around, but it's much less today
• The weather did clear up, but I did not ride
• My sister came by for a surprise visit!
• That's much more important!
• (She would not have begrudged me the time, I just used her as an excuse. The amount of caffeine I've had today...)
• In the past day, the backyard has been patronized by our tortoise, a chipmunk, a squirrel without tail fur(??), a baby rabbit, and a few deer
• It's astounding what visits when Liam is no longer around!
• Nobu cuddled last night, but I didn't get a picture
• Good: exercised
• Happy: BEE IS ENGAGED!!! (She's ecstatic!!)

• I was hoping the weather would break and let me ride today
• Unfortunately, it's nearly 20 degrees colder than yesterday, so that's kept me in
• We may get snow tonight!
• I had a nap, but in my defense, Nobu was curled up on my lap
• What else was I supposed to do?
• He also cuddled last night and was on the couch behind my head most of the day today
• I've been very happy!

• The high knees and butt kicks in Cardio were very slow after the daily exercise
• The headache is on the other side, though!
• The dizziness is new
• Things are happening, at least!
• No matter anything else that happened today, Nobu made me ecstatic
• Cuddles are always sweet, @LizardFriend95, but today took the cake

• I did not move for an hour. I also did not scream, because he would have moved
• He never sleeps on his back!!
• And Casper was very demanding, too
• Maybe the cold weather?
• I'm not complaining in the least!
• Good: grocery shopping

• Pretty quiet day, all told
• Mom and Dad watched Dune: Part 2 and had... thoughts
• The director did say he didn't know how fans were going to take a big change he made
• Nobu cuddled last night and briefly just now
• The back room was open, so they've spent most of the day out there
• I have spent hours doing not much of anything (so a little more than nothing ) and it's been lovely!
• My headache was also much less today!
• Good & Happy: good day!

• Tried a new recipe for breakfast
• SO GOOD!!
• And I made supper, but that's a repeat
• Still great, though!
• I was using the massage gun before exercising and Casper had to join me
• He's been doing this to Mom when Dad helps with her back, but it's a first for me!

• He's so cuddly!!
• A warm purring kitten who lets me kiss him??
• The back room was again open, so other than Nobu attempting to catch my attention with his claws while cooking, I only had cuddles last night

• Happy: yummy food and Casper!

• I was hit by a feeling of malaise today
• Exercising wasn't fun and I couldn't get any desire to ride
• I did make dinner, though, so it's not all bad
• Nobu has been a ghost the last two days
• He also ignored me for Dad last night before he went to bed
• I only forgave him when he joined me
• 
• Casper has been much more affectionate, though
• (Which is amusing since he's our ghost! Cats!)
• He followed me into the kitchen and demanded cuddles. Of course I gave in!

• Here's to tomorrow being better!
• Good: ate 3 meals
• Happy: sister is visiting!!

• Nobu cuddled with me last night, several times today, stole my seat, and cleaned his face right over my shoulder
• I'm quite happy!

• He actually let me sit that close!
• Should be clear enough to ride tomorrow
• Good: laundry is done

• Of course it cleared up and cooled down today
• Still got a lot done, though!
• And found a new bakery!
• It's across the street from a restaurant we regularly go to lunch
• Very big goods and great prices!
• Tyler helped immensely
• Theo gave me lots of love!
• Nobu cuddled last night for a while and I got 3 exceptional pictures!

• My only complaint is that I got so warm
• He also loved the lotion on my neck and had me giggling like mad
• My silly kitten!
• Good: lots of little chores done
• Happy: good food and great animals!
