I know that there is Darebeets.com, but most people are omnivores. Why is the site only vegetarian/vegan? Didn't, years ago, Darebee have a nutrition/diet section with recipes? I would like to propose either a website built for those of us that are meat eaters or expand Darebeets to include meat dishes. I know that there are a lot of people out there that will find this controversial. I for one am not able to eat a lot of veggies due to allergies and gastro issues. I feel that catering to only one group of the populace is not serving everyone that is part of this community. Please consider those of us within this community that can't eat meatless and the ones who choose to eat meat.

"I want to talk to the manager."

DAREBEE Team
hi @permjohn !

At the core of it - the team members with any nutritional expertise are vegan. So it's not a matter of not wanting to help - we simply don't have the knowledge needed to do it well, and what knowladge we did have in the past (previous advice and recipes) is now well out of date. DAREBEETS is also very much a personal project with almost no staff or support behind it, unlike DAREBEE, so the capacity just isn't there right now.

If that changes in the future - whether through new team members willing to contribute or other circumstances - we will absolutely consider expanding the resource. We appreciate you raising it and understand it's a genuine need for a lot of people in the community :thankyou:

There are so many diet approaches these days and also so many limitations/preferences that many people have that it would be rather difficult to cater to everyone´s needs, IMHO. Also, these days there are more food/recipe websites out there than ever, so searching for inspiration shouldn´t really be a problem that Darebee needs to solve? I´m new here but I´ve seen there are recipes discussed on the forum, so when someone finds something great, they can share to help others?
Trying to build a website with "healthy" recipes only would be very difficult, as most people would never agree completely on what "healthy" is.
