When I had a sever lower back nerve inflammation after covid any kind of yoga was a no no, but could still do my tai chi forms (with care) and eventually get back to weight training (3 months). Yoga took almost a year. I use to do advance yoga and heavy weight training. Take time and work around injuries, some can take a year or more.

Light, pain-free movement usually helped me more than full rest. I stuck to gentle core work, walking, and stretching until my back settled down, then added intensity slowly. I also used some hemp-based muscle balms I made from CBD bulk I’d picked up for another project, and it eased the soreness a bit. Just keep the load low and pay attention to anything that makes the pain spike.
