The video exercise library shows straight knees and even says
whereas House of the Valkyrie Day 38 shows bent knees.

...The image is correct! our video library is seriously outdated now - it's been filmed over 13 years ago. Some exercises there are mislabeled/have been retired. The reverse plank kicks are now done as the image illustrated so we need a new video for it now.
We were supposed to re-film everything last summer but we ran out of time. So, it's scheduled for this summer now
We'll have a new library... eventually
