Hi guys!

Writing to update- I'm still unpacking my new place, but I'm through the move and I'm officially a month into my new job today! I'm not quite there yet, but once my place is set up the rest of the way at what in my brain is 'tier 1' (all my belongings sorted out, but not necessarily getting everything I have on my 'want' list right away) I think I'm going to join a gym again. There's one nearby that is reasonably priced, and I miss having cardio machines and weights. I'm definitely out of shape right now, but I'm not checking out of fitness so much as taking some time to get my shit together before I focus back in on it. I'll be checking in periodically still!

Had a sudden health thing come up yesterday and I was out of commission after that. But today I did days 22 and 23, with kneeling pushups for skyshield!
Life happens. Be proud that you listened to your body yesterday.

Like it is often said around here, recovery is also training.

Also, well done on pushing through and doing your workout today!

Okay.

So today I have a bunch of tasks I don't want to do and exactly 0 motivation. I know this is typically for workouts, and working out is one of those things, but screaming into the void here somehow helps me actually do things so I'm gonna include my other bullshit as well. When I feel like this, I can motivate myself by alternating. I want to play darkwood and watch tv. So I'll watch an episode or something and then do some tasks.

  • tidy kitchen
  • laundry
  • work out
  • tidy closet
  • sweep
  • wash floor
  • clean bathroom
  • cook stew
  • dishes
  • cook pasta dish
  • contain the foods and put em away

Okay. So for my workout I did day 33 and then tried to go to the gym, but I got the hours wrong so I'll have to go tomorrow. Because I've been inconsistent, I don't have the strength needed to do the rest of the valkryie. So for tonight I'm going to tackle an easy level full body workout. I'll poke around a little and update when I've done it.
