Chester is a gorgeous boy!

Congrats on getting back to Hero Zero. And I hear ya, it's hard to learn the difference between "ouch, I need to stop" and "ouch, that was a good workout." Haha. But I think you're being smart in slowly amping it up over time. Doing too much too fast can cause accidents, after all. And you're already doing great by doing more than you were before! So keep it up. :D

Thank you so much! :ss:

And Chester also sends his thanks!

It's almost as if being active makes you want to be MORE active
100%. This is the case for me too!

Also agree with what @NightWolf714 said - you're being smart in slowly amping it up!

But if you ever just need to drop back and only do yoga or only do one exercise or whatever for the day that's cool too! Just do something, even if it's just the Exercise of the Day, to keep the momentum going.

Hello bees! I've been traveling for a few days. Finally made it to page 2 of my thread, I should edit my first ever message to add a bit more info... soon.

Friday 16/01:
:gstar: Day 8 of Iron Arms Challenge

Sat & Sun: Rest/Travel/My mom's bday <3

Monday 19/01:
:star: Yoga class: arms and pose day: Crow pose and Peacock pose. I can't do either yet.

Yesterday 20/01:
:rstar: Day 14 of Zero Hero (level III)

Today 21/01:
:gstar: Day 9 of Iron Arms Challenge
:rstar: Day 15 of Zero Hero (level III)
:star: Yoga class: leg and back stretching, managed a pose that had us holding our body upside down against the wall, holding ourselves up on our forearms. Felt great!

Sorry, I somehow missed your reply before I posted last night!

Yes 100%, some days the hardest part is just starting, realizing when excuses are just your brain being annoying, and that even if you do "just" one small workout, that's still great (and this one is the one I have the most trouble with). Momentum is not immediately obvious, but it does make a huge difference, it's true.

Hi everyone :ss: hope you're having a nice day!

Thursday 22/01:
:rstar:Yoga class: we had a relatively easy class, more like "normal" yoga lol

Friday 23/01:
:gstar: Day 10 of Iron Arms Challenge
:rstar: Day 16 of Zero Hero (level III)

Saturday 24/01:
:gstar: Day 11 of Iron Arms Challenge
:star: Everybody Squats Now! (level I)

Sunday: rest day (SO sore from the squats lol)

Today 26/01:
:gstar: Day 12 of Iron Arms Challenge
:gstar: 7k steps! I've been really bad about walking, I'm going to be home with my dogs for another month, so I'll be taking over dog walking duties to get more motivated, plus they're also happier!

- I was so sad today that I couldn't go to yoga because of a doctor's appointment... I never used to WANT to exercise this badly, very happy about my mentality shift!

Hello bees, I've been away a fair bit, family came to visit and it derailed my routine. I loved having them over, but changes in routine really mess with me for some reason. Anyway, back to it!

:gstar: Cycling 30 min

Wed 28/01:
:rstar: Yoga class
:gstar: Cycling 30 min

Thu 29/01:

:gstar: Cycling 30 min
:gstar: Day 13 of Iron Arms Challenge

Fri 30/01:
:gstar: Day 14 of Iron Arms Challenge

Sat and Sun: rest days/family time

Yesterday 2/02:
:star: Yoga class (sun and moon salutations)
:gstar: Cycling 30 min

Today 3/02:
:star: Yoga class (core and quads)

I realize now that I've been neglecting Zero Hero, I genuinely forgot lol that's what happens when I don't log here often enough, I'll do my best not to go this long without logging here again.

Welll... hello again bees! I have been absent for longer than I hoped. Life happened all at once, and then it was a lot harder to start again.

I'm going to try again, and keep trying. I have a busier schedule now, so I'll be kinder to myself. I was trying to exercise 6 days a week last time, I'll aim for 3 days a week and go from there.
Thank you everyone for the support :hheart:

Today 25/03
:v: Day 19 of Zero Hero (level III)

Hello bees! Going through a heat wave over here (it's supposed to be autumn too :persevering: ). We've been dealing with daily temps of 38 - 40 C (100 - 104 f), hopefully we'll get a bit of cold soon.

Friday 27/03:
:v: Day 18 of Iron Arms Challenge

Yesterday 30/03:
:v: 8k steps

Today 31/03:
:v: Day 20 of Zero Hero (level III)
:v: Day 19 of Iron Arms Challenge

I have a few days off this week so I hope to do a little more, it feels very good to be back! :hope:

Yesterday 2/04:
:v: Day 21 of Zero Hero (level III)
:v:
Day 20 of Iron Arms Challenge

Today 3/04:
:v: Day 21 of Iron Arms Challenge
:v: Day 1 of Daily Squat Challenge

Decided to start a new challenge! I've wanted to do a squat challenge for a while. I didn't want to start a new one before finishing the others, but I realize now there's no reason for that, switching things up is a good way to stay motivated!
Have a nice weekend bees!

Hi bees! There's been some workouts that I forgot to log, but they were very low level and they weren't part of the official ones here. I've been having a rough couple of weeks, it's a little better now but it will probably stay rough in general over here for the rest of the year. I will do my best to take care of my body, because I'm finally seeing improvement in my levels of pain and general fitness :ss:

Friday 10/04:
:v: Day 2 of Daily Squat Challenge

Saturday 11/04:
:v: Day 3 of Daily Squat Challenge
Sunday: Rest day

Monday 13/04:
:v: Day 22 of Zero Hero (level III)
:v: Day 22 of Iron Arms Challenge

Tuesday 14/04:
:v: Day 23 of Iron Arms Challenge

Wednesday 15/04:

:v: Day 23 of Zero Hero (level III)

Today 16/04:

:v: Day 4 of Daily Squat Challenge
:v: Day 24 of Zero Hero (level III)

Have a good weekend everyone !
