Hey ya'll, it's been a few years since I've visited here. I just had shoulder surgery and want to recover a little faster. What programs would you recommend for someone with limited mobility. Of course, I'll be working with my doctor and physical therapist as well.

I don't know what shoulder surgery you had. But after mine i had to keep the affected arm in the slope for 6 weeks and only very slowly start doing exercises the physical therapist showed and acknowledged. Long story short: be very careful with exercising too early and get approval from you doctors or physical therapist first. You can easily f*ck up the whole surgery effort by being too ambitious

Bicep tendonesis (sp) to correct a slap tear. And excision of about 8mm of my collarbone. In a sling for about 2 weeks then "coffee cup weight bearing" for the next 4 weeks. Physical therapy starts at the 2 week point.
