Hello again,
I was some years away.
Last half year I'm recovering. My left foot (metatarsophalangeal joint:bigsad:) is aching and my knees. But the pain is getting less since mid january.
Also I have some problems with my digestion. I need more veggies
I still dance, but only once a week. I'm in a group of women, who exercise for an hour weekly (and I love it).
I quit yoga in this year after years of yoga. I needed a change.

My goals are
  • Better arms challenge
  • A salat a day challenge
  • Take my meds (Those are vitamines)
  • Exercise of the day
  • Foundation (I tried Soma 40+ one set - but the lunges are too much for me, and also jumping jacks )
  • burn 220 cal (counted by my watch)
I start today.

You all are very kind as always.

  • Better arms challenge day 1
  • A salat a day challenge ☑️
  • Take my meds ☑️
  • Exercise of the day ☑️
  • Foundation ☑️
  • 220 cal ☑️
Spring was here. We had a little walk in a wood, where our path ended up in nowhere and we climbed on a hill of 60 degrees and wet sand. Adventurous. 🤠🥾🥾
For lunch I had a nice salad with „everything“ my fridge had. And nuts and seeds and two slices of smoked salmon. Yummy. I felt like a star chief 👩‍🍳.
Later on I repaired my little one‘s beloved patchwork jeans. At the age of 19 she is still jumping over tables at school. Too much for her pants. 🤣

Like I supposed, I didn't log in yesterday.
  • EotD was switched for another but done. I did reversed angels
  • Better Arms 4
  • Foundation 4 l2
  • Vitamins
  • Walk
  • Salad - I thought a vegetarian soup would be enough, but at 10pm my hubby returned and I ate a small salad. It was kind of late for my stommach.
So for today, I already finished the exercising by 8:15 am.
  • EotD (high crunches)
  • Better arms 5
  • Foundation 5 l3 - I was so in flow - I could not stop. I wish, I would continue with another workout maybe.
It's foggy outside - whrere is the sun?

vitamines:v:

Today:
EotD - not lunges, it aches too much. I did another :v:
Better arms day 6 :v:
Foundation day 6 l2 :v:

I had a very hard day yesterday. My son (teenager and autist) refused to go to the dentist and skipped the 3. time. I'm sorry for him and the dentist. Especially because his teeth are in bad condition and rarely brushed. I suspect him to be afraid of the dentist. But he had every time another excuse not to go.
In the next months he has to finish school and pass his exams. He is in a distance learning school (homeschooling is not possible in Germany) and has many other ideas beside school stuff. So I will for the moment forget his teeth and hope that he will pass all of his exams. The next one is a presentation about smart home. IT and specially smart home is his main daily interest. But he hates writing, nor wants he help or chatgpt.

Tuesday - Wednesday -Thursday : days 12,13 and 14.
EotD :v: :v: :v:
Better Arms :v::v::v:
Foundation (often in level 3, because it's not hard):v::v::v:
Salad :v::v:
Vitamins:v::v:

Better Arms is getting really hard. 3 sets with 16 dips. While the first 2 sets were ok. The third one had only 12.
For salads : the day is not finished yet. Usually I have salad for lunch.
The vitamins are hard. I have really more than 5 to take after meal. And water with chia seeds for the first in the morning. I often forget and eat something before. How can I remember? Make a BIIIG sign? :tuzki-stub::eatall:

Tuesday again:dizzy-face:
Foundation days 21 - 25 :x::v::v::v::v::v:
Better Arms :v::v::v: (got lost and did days 19 and 20 twice)
Salads :v::v::v::v:
Vitamines (somes checks and one not):x:
2 x riding 15 and 17 km.
Forever young dumbell workout
Stretching (standing mobility)

I suppose i should log it better. Last week I was into reading a set of 7 books. So no workouts on wednesday and thursday. I did them on friday and saturday.
We were biking on saturday and sunday.

I try to meet the calories goal per week and the training load. Beside that a new challenge for biking/hiking startet at my health insurance. 60000 steps a week or 40 km. A percentual mix is also possible. Due to my knee problems I bike more than I walk.

I want to get the sport badge of DSB. I will walk 7,5km in around 1 h, jump rope 80 times, bike sprint 200 m and for strength maybe jump. It starts in Mai. Last year we passed it the first time (with my hubby). So this is the second year. I can't top my last years result, because it was gold and my feets and knees are sore. I hope to pass it at all.

@Fremen , @Anek, @Mamatigerj and @neilarey Thanks a lot for congratulation and reading and supporting me.

Like a tradition - we were bike riding at the weekend.
At saturday with my nieces and at sunday with my brother. The town is surrounded by hills (small hills). It was only 13 km but not as easy, as it would be, if it were flat.
The second tour was 29 km along the riverside. It was the first time my brother drove the bikes with his car. What's the word for this appliance to transport 2 or sometimes 3 bikes?
Both of them where unusual and spectacular because of location and people.

At the moment I am for several days away from home and living at my parents place. My son has to pass exams here. The first is tomorrow. At friday we went for preparation to the school. Everything went quite well. He even prepared his presentation in the last hour before leaving. The teacher was impressed. He advised him to preset his presentation at home to know, how much time he needs. (They give 10 min per student). But my son still didn't try it. I had expected more. But it's typical for him.

@Maegaranthelas Thank you for congrats. Yes, back lunges and not that deep seems to help.
<totals> :v::v:
Better Arms:v::v:
EotD :v:
:fireworks:
My son passed his first oral exam. I'm so happy!

He is at home all the time. Last week he met his teacher first time in real. And yesterday 2 students at the exam.
Looks like he is motivated for May and 4 written exams in german, english, maths and biology. He hates writing and needs to lern all the biology stuff. Quite a lot. But on monday he spend hours to prepare his oral exam.

@Mamatigerj, @Anek, @Maegaranthelas, @Fremen: Thank you very much.
:thanks:
Weekend:
After fridays 60 lunges, I had severe DOMs. I suppose, I should cut of lunges a bit next time. Maybe 30-40 are enough.
On saturday we build up some furniture in one of our storage rooms - this took quite a bit of time and steps...
On sunday, after a long lunch meal, we had a "shorter" bike tour of 12 km. My sportswatch didn't get the gps signal for the first kilometers.

Totals day 11
New challenge: daily squats for my knees : day 1
EotD: 30 Calf Raises: My most important excercise actually

  • Universal warmup ( @aku-chan: I saw it in your log and thought, maybe a good idea ;-)
  • Totals 17,18. (Half of the lunges I did as calf raises, because last time I did them I was sore for 3 days). So only 40 lunges today, rest calf raises.
  • Daily sqlats 6,7
  • Express tone 8
  • Yesterday cycling 18 km: really nice route. No traffic, no stops. I try to get faster, to get my heart rate into zone 2, above 130 bpm. It's around 17-18 km per hour. Inbetween the cycling days I walk a bit.
  • 1 minute meditation challenge: day 1. I thought it might be a good idea. I tried it last days several times before going to bed. To get peacefull mind was easier. So here I am with a challenge of only 1 minute daily.
My fitnes watch (coros pace 3) slightly increases my trainingsload every week. I started to follow the suggestions in the middle of january. All the months before, I thought if my knees aches and my feet I should reduce my activity for restoring. Doc said it's arthrosis, and I should try to get more muscles for support. I think my endurance gets better. I should increase my power.
