I'm so glad that's over and done with. Failed a lot on the planks. What a monster.
This is one of those where I went "OK, looks tough, but I think we got this!". Then I reach the end of set 1 and I'm like "[GASP]...uh... [GASP]...OH..."

^Did not go as planned! DIFFICULT. Intended to defeat Level 3, but my midsection was sore when I started. Not today.

^Chaser workout. Great little routine that I would consider doing daily as an afternoon renewal practice.

A few meditations:
  • I'm feeling tired lately. Or less willing. Maybe it's the cumulative fatigue from lots of level 3s. I'm not sure, but the apprehension has been around a few mornings lately.
  • Related to that, I'm noticing the great benefit of having a regular exercise habit is that it helps me tease out if I'm dealing with a physical or mental block. My sense of these things is more refined even in their vagueness.
  • Recently I was looking into group fitness classes. I'm curious. I'm wondering if I'm leaving a lot on the table that a group dynamic could help me tap into; to get bigger, broader results. Things like HYROX and crossfit looked interesting. In my case I've decided the travel time and cost (!) don't justify the possibility of gains, when I'm rather happy with my regimend and results as they are. So yesterday I moved on. And it's the darnedest thing... now I have this sense of unsatisfaction. And I don't think it's legitimate. I think it's just residue of my consumerism; I got serious about spending money to get something I don't feel I have, and then decided not to. So I have a sense now of "being without." When prior to that I was just fine with what I had. Funny that.
  • Had to give up on a 2nd run of Level 1 pull-up challenge on day 21; some sort of tennis elbow, tendon issue in my right arm keeps getting aggravated.
