I had plans to draw today, but I completely lost them. I was going to do it now, but suddenly I'm having a headache, and I guess it might be better to sleep. In fact, I've slept a lot today. I slept almost through the powercut too, even though it felt shorter today... I even slept while cooking lunch.

I don't know. I just feel tired today. Maybe a bad night's sleep. I didn't feel anything until a few minutes ago, while I was doing the Moon Salutation, that I had a headache. It's very mild, but it's obviously the headache of being tired.

I skipped walking too. I ended up working out late.

Maybe tomorrow will be better.

No, I did not draw. Instead, I spent the time cleaning up my upcoming Pathfinder session, hoping that this time won't be cancelled. I must have to say, I thought making monsters in Pathfinder was harder, but it ended up much quicker than I thought. I ported one of my old bosses into it because we're dealing with the same creature, so all I had to do was to put a bit more power into it, and make it obvious that it is a boss. After all, the encounter is planned to be a puzzle boss.

I also did a couple of NPCs, but I went more loosely with these instead. ICRPG streamlined the process even more, so I simply skipped the feats, or just briefly eyeballed them before putting the NPC abilities proper, and pretty much made my own instead of relying on the books. They are not exactly OP because these NPCs are only support for the party rather than actual hirelings that are supposed to compliment them. No, these two ended up on the ride due to how things ended on the previous session, and must accompany the party until the end of the upcoming session.

I'm also thinking about bringing back my cancelled campaign, and I already have some fresher ideas. I spent some time worldbuilding to have a more grounded universe, without throwing yet another flip-flop of God and changing everything up again. I finally managed to have a border that feels consistent, and now all that remains is to actually fill the city with stuff rather than keep things vague. It is a city campaign, after all. We're not going to play for two more weeks because it is 24th and 31st the Sundays after this one, so we'll gather up in January again, and we'll likely start with the other campaign. That means I have a lot of time to prep.

Since I ended up pleased with Planescape, I finished my preparations for my VtM chronicle. There's one quest that I find very interesting, and I also find that could be a story that ties to the main story perfectly, starting as a parallel before intertwining via an unexpected Chekhov's gunman. I generated six quests, one per location that I put on my prep, and they are all fun, but that one is still on the back of my head.

Anyway, I'll try to write for real. Finally stuff's been itching in my head for a while.

Like I said, I can't stop writing, no matter how much I try...

Uplifting news. Remember that time where I was going to move out to a place, but there was so much family drama involved about it? Well, instead of me moving out, my mom decided to rent the place out to one of my uncles instead. His son used it to set up a business, and today it was the opening day. It's an ice cream shop, a specialty of him because he knows how to assemble and fix the ice cream machines, so not only he set up an ice cream shop, but also a place to build, fix, and sell the ice cream machines.

I'm not going to lie, I am very happy that they finally opened! Their ice cream is actually very good, plus I believe it being a family business makes it better. There's a lot of good things going for them, and my uncle expects everything to grow. Apparently they rushed the opening because they needed some extra funds, but even though the place is a bit small right now, it is incredible, from the decor, to the ambience, and obviously, the ice cream itself. They really outdid themselves on this one, and I can't help but expect for them to keep growing, because it is a very good place. We're going to promote it like crazy around here, even though it is a bit further deep in town, but just getting there is worth it.

So yeah, I spent the day outside of home. I was not planning on it, but I cancelled everything anyway because I didn't want to miss out. Funny enough, a powercut started as soon as we were about to leave.

Anyway, it's been a good day. Not much fitness stuff, but I don't care. I'm happy for my cousin, and I'm happy for my uncle!

Spent the day moslty playing VtM by myself, and it wasn't much about playing, but rather creating the characters, finishing them up. Their backstories aren't still done, but I can make them up as I go through the story. I made things easier by starting straight into the action rather than my original plan of starting straight after the turn of my Ghoul.

I don't remember much about what else I did yesterday, but I couldn't work out as much as I wanted. It was mostly TTRPG related, including preparing for today's session, and also, looking for ways to recover my previous campaign.

Pathfinder 2e, and the last TTRPG session for the year... unless someone decides to change it anytime over the next couple of weeks.

It was very fun. Pathfinder works very awesomely for high-level play. Turns out the boss fight was so much faster than in D&D, despite the crunchier rules. So fast that we actually spent more time with the puzzles and the exploration of the dungeon instead of the boss. They were very puzzled as to why that boss was taking little to no damage, until they figured out how to properly fight it. What made them figure it out was the clues that I let off earlier, when they realized they had to cut a supply of energy that kept the boss immune to everything. After they did, everything went incredible, though they didn't count with the secret I had up my sleeve. It was a very intense, yet satisfying fight. With two NPCs supporting the party, it was all good fun.

Now, I'm going to prepare for the last boss, which will be more intricate than this. I don't want to make a boss that is just hit them until they are dead, nor I want to make a fight that revolves more around tactics so much so that it requires for me to keep track of everything on a grid paper behind the screen. I'll be honest, I love to run bosses like Metroid Fusion's Nettori or Human Revolution's Hyron Project, meaning bosses that can't move. Flavor-wise, they can be more intriguing, mysterious, or even straight out complete nightmare fuel (Hyron Project, despite being the easiest boss of Human Revolution, is probably the creepiest boss that I've seen in a videogame, and it doesn't help that type technology can be developed within our lifetime), but also, they have much more control of the environment they inhabit. If run correctly, a boss like that can make a party's life so hard they'd end up resorting to very desperate measures. The thing that I think it's poorly done with these type of bosses is that they have the ability of summoning minions, something that Nettori completely averts, and instead opts for plasma attacks once enough damage has been dealt. Instead of using that, I kept my party on check, and every time they tried to use an action to move, they had to make a Reflex save to avoid a constant thing that was released in the environment, otherwise they'd lose an action, and be pushed further into a pit. Ironically, I made the combat very tactical, yet I didn't require the grid because everything relied on the dice.

I didn't run Initiative at all. That kept things going. I just went from left and went clockwise, just as ICRPG states, and the session went very smooth. The only times we stopped was to calculate rolls due to the nature of Pathfinder having so many numbers to deal with, and the fact that we can't afford a paid version of Pathbuilder to access the "Proficiency without levels" feature slows my players because they must substract the level from their rolls, DCs, and ACs. As I said before, I don't like the fact that you have to add your level to the rolls; it artificially inflates the numbers, and it makes creatures of lower level completely trivia. I like to have a game where a level 1 creature can still be a challenge, no matter the amount of Hit Points or the DPR a character has. So having to subtract 15 from their modifiers bogged down the gameplay, but me being the GM, I didn't allow it to be as such a lot. I just said "yeah, you hit/save" if the player took too long. I've heard the unorthodox advice of just saying yes to everything the players do, and it has worked. I even used a Bob World Builder tip when it came up an use for Mage Hand that wasn't RAW (using to hit someone and give them a push on a jump), so I had the player to sacrifice one of his physical Ability Scores, and spend an amount of points he wishes in order to use them as a modifier for the attack for Mage Hand, since it isn't something written in the rules, in exchange that he gives me one of his Hero Points. He did, and it was one heck of a way to have even more uses for Mage Hand. Seriously, that one rule BWB stole from Dungeon Crawls Classic just gave us a lot more uses for the spells. I only allow it with the expenditure of a Hero Point, though, unless it's just way too epic, so I give them up the use for free, but they have to sacrifice a physical ability score. Normally, I would've used the RAW from DCC, but because it was a test of the idea, and it was just for that scene, I allowed the character to recover his STR when the next scene arrived.

So yeah, adding stuff from other games just made Pathfinder even more fun than it is, and I like it that it runs so much smoother with high-level play. Our last session will be purely combat with another puzzle boss, one that I promised myself to make even more lethal, and have everyone at the table working as a team.

Powercut. One hour of Strength workout. No writing, except my homework for therapy. It's taking too long to write an autobiography, but I'm finally at the point of eight years ago, back when I realized I am transgender. The rest will be a breeze to write, considering that I started my diary a few months in the middle of autumn from that same year; five months after the sh*t hit the fan, or a better word would be, I opened Pandora's box. Is strange how your first novel can also tell so much about yourself without even knowing.

I treated myself to an entire hour of Strength workout today, listening to nothing but Rammstein. I have to confess that Mann Gegen Mann is my anthem (even more nowdays considering a specific line that goes something like "My own gender calls me a traitor, I am the nightmare of all parents," taking the translation with a bit of salt due to the amount of puns one word in that sentence has), so the last 25 Burpees were, very likely, the most aggressive Burpees I've ever done in my life. The 100/50 worked as a warmup, and after seeing Stronger Glutes upon the newest workouts, I knew I had to try it out today. I loved it, even though my back was so sweaty that I had to dry out my floor every single time, or else I'd slip with the plank position for the incoming Push-ups from Croft.

Yes, I did Croft again. I had to. Is my favorite workout, and it has been a long time, so I'm picking it back up. I am thinking about dedicating an entire hour of working out once again. Strength every day, except on Wednesdays and Fridays, which will be Combat days, and Saturdays, which will be Cardio, and perhaps Dance day.

Whew! My hand hurts! I spent the entire day finishing my autobiography. Thankfully, the last three years were very short because nothing interesting happened... except that I forgot to mention the time I managed to get my badges for 100 Push-ups and 100 Burpees, damnit!

It's fine, though. At least I managed to put that time I got my first Push-up, two weeks in the Knee Push-up challenge. After getting to the time where I found out I was transgender, yeah, I did realize he got it completely wrong from the get go. The other therapist saw it straight away, and she wanted me to get out of the closet soon, but to have a safe network of people I can rely upon first. The problem back in the day was that I didn't have anyone close. The ones I could trust where out of town, and most of the people that are tolerant to the LGBT community I know are outside of the country. Out of all the people I've met here, in the country, only around four or five are actually tolerant, and that is because they are bisexuals themselves. So yeah, it's pretty difficult to come out of the closet under that type of situation. I've been living a double life since, and even though I am managing, it's catastrophic. That therapist also saw right through me, and she did teach me everything. Through it, I just noticed a lot of "yes, that's me" over everything.

Not the case here, though, but I hope things change this time. The reason I am focusing on strength so much it's under his advice, and I'm following it, but under my conditions. I am not quitting cardio, combat, or dancing because I have fun with them, and it also breaks the routine. Strength can get boring to me; I've been there. There's a reason why I try to work out with music whenever possible. I already know Mann Gegen Mann makes me more aggressive, thus I deliver more explosiveness on the explosive exercises, like Burpees.

Skipping the night routine because it's already late, and I need to wake up early tomorrow.

The DOMS are killing me! I had to walk twice this morning after learning the therapist was coming up late. Thankfully, I was the first in line, but I quickly went back home to have breakfast and went back to the hospital. Then, there was a powercut that lasted way much longer than I'm comfortable with, as I remained laying on the floor, trying to sleep over a horrible heat using a very awful pillow.

Yet everything went well. I do not know why it did not occur to me to actually use the whiteboard I have for TTRPG as a whiteboard to put my daily goals in plain sight, so that I don't lose track of everything because the notebook I use for my journal sucks. However, I put down that whiteboard and made a new one, much bigger, and more resistant. I am using it right now. It's right in front of me, and I put the entire queue of my stories, plus my dailies. Even though I joked around when he mentioned some scientist and then I went ahead with Pavlov's dog, he actually told me it was a good idea to set a trigger similar to it to get to work. I'm figuring to do it through music; something that I don't usually listen to everyday, but once I listen to it, I get in the mood. Something from the classical period that isn't Mozart, and I'm saying Mozart specifically because I rock way too much with Mozart. I don't want to use the Baroque period because it's just as overloaded as Mozart (despite the fact that I love that playlist that says Vivaldi is a metalhead), and the Romantic period just makes me want to play instead of anything else.

I digress. Triggers, that's an idea I should consider. I already wrote out what's for tomorrow, and even added a piece of information that I should have in mind because there's another contest that I'd like to participate in opening up soon.

I also gave myself the reminder to lower my standards and remember that a first draft can be fixed, but a blank page can't. I must make mistakes, and aim to do the worst, and only after that I can do my very best. I can't be stagnant forever.

Oh, I also drew a map... that I didn't finish. Now I am considering doing it again because I had a better idea, but the rest stays the same. I might even use it on a solo D&D experience to worldbuild and have an idea about what goes on over there.

I'll be doing my Secret Santa gift soon; hopefully tomorrow. Secret Santa, if you're reading this and haven't read my post yet, I am most likely going to add that gift in my toolbox, because it looks perfect for those days when I can't do either Burpees, Combat, or both... or even to sandwich inbetween my training for the day. Those snowmen won't be defeated on their own.

I feel better today, though my ankles are killing me. I guess it's because I'm wearing my boots again instead of sneakers, though I'm not using them for working out. We were also supposed to have water today, but nothing. It's been nearly a week again, and our reserves are low right now. The weekend doesn't look good.

What looks good is the whiteboard. It's working... a little. I can't say it works after just one day, but it forced me to do a thing, which is coming back to writing, and it has worked, including the "lowering my standards" note. I actually put an exercise somewhere to make something bad on purpose. There was also a new idea that I jotted down there, which only makes my queue longer, but right now, I'm only actively working on three elements rather than the seven that appear there. I mean, one of them shouldn't be in there, but I'm just feeling like making it in advance.

It's been a long day, and I don't want to wake up early tomorrow. My plans were completely broken because more chores that need to be done very early because, instead of making things better, they are making it worst. I won't bore with the details, let's just say it's an annoying chore that depends more on dealing with the people with the community that we don't really like, yet they hold a positon of power.

Anyway, I won't let that ruin my post, especially since I did my Secret Santa gift. As soon as I saw it, I just had to do it, but not yesterday... The DOMS were nasty, but not today. Nailing 150 Burpees feels good, and I guess I got the EC since a huge chunk of the workouts have that as EC? Can that be considered an EC, Secret Santa? Let me know anonymously in your log, when you start doing it yourself, just like I will let the one I gave my gift on this log... anonymously. Only you'll know who you are, and judging by the likes, you've been reading me since day 1.

ss2023_Solveig.jpg

I am adding this to my toolbox now. It has everything that I like, so again, thank you! I love this gift; the gift of Burpees with combat!

That reminds me, the Power Squats challenge... I felt it today. I don't know if that's my ankles acting up, but it was difficult to do the first set. The other two were alright. I did Croft today, so there were some extra Squats; they just weren't Power Squats. Interesting, considering that I did Croft much later after Power Squats, and I mean, at different points of the day. Power Squats was a micro workout before lunch.

E: I didn't update the DD count

I tried to write today. I actually managed to get up to 1K, but there was an issue: I got overwhelmed by how the story developed that I had to stop, otherwise I'd be having a heart attack. It's actually that good, and the prospect just made me afraid, even though I went ham at a point where I got stuck and just wrote so bad it barely counts as writing. It makes me feel really, really awful that I did that, but it's progress, and I'm willing to not look back on it until the time comes. It feels so wrong, and it is a distraction, but I have to keep going... even if it means enabling the function of Ghostwriter that blocks everything that isn't the sentence where you're at.

I'm also looking for music triggers to get me into writing. I used to listen to future house music back in my cyberpunk days whenever I had to write scenes that took place in clubs, and with my current work I already found a band, a couple of songs, and a Spotify user that makes some playlists that I like... although they are much better on Youtube. One of the songs I found out it was a trigger by accident on Sunday. When I gathered up with my group to play Pathfinder, suddenly that song played at that house, and I just wanted to write something. I didn't, though. I was more excited about finally running Planescape to care about writing in that moment.

I'll try listening to those songs to get to work and have my whiteboard cleaner. I'm also putting a reminder to do some research and brush off my notes on conditioning from the psychology classes I took at university.

The only reason I did this is because today was a day for the evil DD that is 2 minutes of Side Splits. Other than that, I took it as a rest day. My ankles feel better now, and I don't have more DOMS, but still, I needed the rest. I also skipped today's Fit December, and I'll be skipping tomorrow's because I don't like those workouts. On one hand, Up and Down Planks are impossible to do without hurting myself, and I don't have the space to do Reverse Angels properly long enough for circuits. Having a bad relationship with both exercises only made it easier to take the decision to skip them.

Also, last night, I managed to finish writing something, so one element of my queue is down. I also erased another one because it's too late to write it, but I saved the idea for next year. I also forced myself to draw one of my portrait lessons to test myself, and... I don't really like the results. I feel like I have to start all over, which means a lot of imitation again. It's fine, I am going to do this daily. Besides, I didn't take my time doing the lesson anyway. I rushed through, so that's also to blame. The outcome is not really bad, it's just not good.

So yeah, that's what my day has been. I also recovered the campaign I canned, and I feel more motivated to recover it. I already planned out a session for a recap that also helped me to go all over it again, and grab the many NPCs that the party has come into contact with, plus the homebrew perks that I added for some characters, like a relationship meter similar to the ones seen on The Sims for one that's pursuing romances with pretty much every NPC they meet, and reworking a D% table that it'll be better if I fit it as a 54 Deck of Cards (yes, that includes the two jokers) or less... maybe take the Deck of Many Things as inspiration. The reason I'm doing that it's because that character ended up getting into many hijinks outside of the table every single time a session ends, so I decided to take the Monopoly Cards and bring them to the table as a way to see what sort of hijinks they do between sessions. They could be rewarding, or punishing; it depends on what the player takes. I've seen a video about making adventures and NPC encounters through the use of the Deck of Illusions and the Deck of Many Things, so that gives me an idea so that it won't feel stale. I'm doing this as such so that it doesn't become predictable, but I can even add more uncertainty by creating more tables and simply using something as a D4 or a D6 to see what kind of stuff they encounter, and then have them pick a card from the deck. I don't know, it sounds like it'll be more work, but I find the idea fun. I'll come up with something. For now, Worldbuilding and organizing the campaign is a priority.

I guess I catched a cold. I woke up with my throat hurting bad yesterday, and today's the same. Whatever it was, it's not keeping me on bed, but it is definitely annoying me to no end.

It didn't stop me from writing, though... but chores did. The water finally came, and today's just laundry. I haven't even done anything other than The Right Side today, so I missed the EC for the WoD.

I also taught a neighbor to bake pan de jamón. She didn't like how it came out, but she's quite negative. She got discouraged very quick, but I did like how it came out, I just didn't like her impatience. Besides, is not like I am baking pan the jamón every single day; that's a holiday dish. I can't get better without practice, and I'm aware of that, so I don't give up or get discouraged about baking them. Is not challenging, but I don't do it for the challenge or for profit, I just do it because I like the process.

Merry Christmas. Mine is not going as lazy and ok as I wanted. I'll blame the water company on that.

Chores! Chores! It was all chores for Christmas!

Then again, I haven't had an actual Christmas for over 20 years, ever since I moved in here. I already discussed this with a friend, and I... don't mind it that way. After all, the good Christmases and New Year's Eve that I used to have are long gone to history, and my grandmother's death put the final nail on that coffin. If things were the way I wanted them to be, I'd be celebrating on a way that I wouldn't expected to celebrate, but that's just me, I'm not too much of the holidays, and even though I'm a Norse pagan, I'm not too much for blóts. Even as a Christian, I was always more pragmatic about my beliefs, and preferred for my actions to speak louder than any praise or sacrifice I'd give to the Christian God, or the Roman Catholic Church. I'm still the same. I consider actions a better sacrifice than material elements rotting on an altar that have to be returned to nature regularly.

But I digress. What I'm saying is that I'm no longer hyped for the holidays like I used to, almost as if I grew out of them. I still like them, though, I just... I guess I celebrate them differently. Like I said, if things were the way I wanted them to be, I'd be celebrating on a way that I wouldn't have thought I would. I already celebrated them on WoW when I was on my mid-to-late teens, when my dad turned more and more into Scrooge. Seriously, it got to the point where he was the one wanting to go home instead of me, and we were was grandma's place. The last time we went was the same year grandma passed, and nothing was the same. By that point in time, the mass migration of Venezuelans started, and some of my family at my dad's side left for a better life.

I don't mean this to sound sad, because I'm not really sad about it. I'm actually a bit melancholic and nostalgic, but I've come to terms that times like that won't come back. And I don't want them to come back. I'd actually rather to have my own traditions, to make my own traditions, to celebrate on my own terms instead of my family's terms, because, well, my family is completely broken. Many people are out of the country, politics divided my family on my mom's side, grandma was the one who kept the family together on my dad's side, then there's a whole lot of drama happening on my mom's side, it's just very chaotic, and it bleeds into celebrations. It feels like I don't belong to my family at all.

And, you know what? It's a good thing. Who wants to be the transgender girl in a clan filled with so much religious-rooted transphobia? The only one I could count on died nearly six years ago.

Anyway, I tried to be productive, but I don't feel good. It's the cold, on one hand, and I feel like I'm overwhelmed with tasks, on the other. I had four things I could do today, and you know what I did? I added a fifth option to the list, and picked it: laundry.

So yes, I catched a cold. That didn't stop me from doing things anyway. I am not "writing" as in I am not doing the stuff that I must do, but I drew the same lesson twice. I did it twice because, when I saw my outcome on the first one, I knew that I could do much better. Using smaller pieces of paper helps. I am, once again, starting from scratch, but I think I can get back to where I was.

The streets are very lonely at this time of the year, so maybe I won't be going outside to take a walk for a while, or at least until everyone goes back from holidays. I still walked and ran indoors yesterday; it felt like I was chasing a sleigh that went out of hand, or going down chimneys. Wording it as such reminded me a little of Saints Row IV.

Anyway, I didn't post last night because I couldn't make it. It's the cold. It shuts my brain down, and I have to force myself to do things. I pretty much slept the entirety of today because the Grinch decided to ruin the holidays and cut the power at the afternoon. This year's holidays have been hard... really, really hard...

Well, there's nothing like a powercut to brighten up a day, isn't it? It doesn't matter. I spent most of it sleeping through the cold, to which I'm still affected by, but at least is getting better. I didn't do Burpees, but I played again with the Christmas gift that I've gotten. Coming from the girl who does murder mysteries, it may sound ironic what I'm about to say, but I do much better by pulling the rug where you stand upon while reading a story than solving logic riddles, so I have no idea who was the Secret Santa who did a workout that filled in extra time that I bought during the workout session. I thought the WoD was going to be brutal, but I ended up going through it without rest. Hell, even a runny nose didn't stop me from Burpeeing around. It didn't happen yesterday, it didn't happen today... though the numbers were halved because, again, I slept through most of the day.

So it was an unproductive day, and I'll leave it as such. I won't even try to do anything that requires focus because I won't get to it, not when I have to blow my nose every sixty seconds, and what first comes as blowing my nose turns into "what the hell was I doing?", which then promptly leads me into consuming short videos of fun facts and memes.

At least I managed to draw yesterday, and play solo, which I consider it a success. I almost retconned a lot of things, but I only retconned one small thing: a character that, after reading my notes, I just felt like it didn't make any sense. I tried to do its stat block because it's just a Commoner NPC with one level of Fighter, but instead I ended up rolling for their ability scores, and now... I don't know which one to pick. The NPC stat block, or the PC-style sheet? I don't want to increase my party, but I feel they'll be a recurring character at one point or another. Maybe I'll read what I went through again.

Thanks, and me being nostalgic is probably what brought this cold in the first place, or at least according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. It didn't help that tonight there was also a full moon; an orange full moon late at night. Last time I saw one of those was back when I was a kid, probably around a year or two before I moved to this city.

Still feeling sick, and I skipped my workout. There was only one thing that I put my focus on, and that is to improve my productivity tools, take notes of the new things that I'll be changing for my journal, and taking on new habits. I wanted to play D&D today, but that ended up being a no-no. Instead, I decided to start over and recreate my characters, because that new NPC works a whole lot better as a PC instead of an NPC. I ended up having them with the same class that the previous PC had, plus a better beginning. At first I wanted to remove the skill proficiencies and only rely upon ability proficiencies, but that ended up feeling slightly vague, plus I didn't develop my characters enough to use that. I might change that tomorrow, because maybe I should develop their backstory. That variant rule relies quite a lot on the backstory, but it saves time on the mechanics. However, using the Proficiency Die is already better without removing the skills. That's how I rolled before, and it was actually more fun and had more logic than having a fixed number as a Proficiency Bonus, plus it made character creation quicker by removing the need of writing the new modifiers for each proficiency on the character sheet.

I'll keep on with this. Time went by really fast today, and I also went out to walk because there were some people on the streets.

"Ars longa, vita brevis"
Harsh day. Not only there was an unexpected powercut right in the middle of my D&D session that was severely cut thanks to it, but it was also hot. Now, in spite of that, I sweated my cold away. Literally, I sweated it. I still had some symptoms during the day, but after I trained for two hours, it vanished, and I didn't notice it until before dinner. Not only that, but I also had so much fun today, training, and then playing D&D even though I didn't advance as much as I wanted to in my campaign, but at least I started, which is the important part. There's the temptation of rolling back again and deleting the skills, but I'm leaving it as such for now.

Seriously, the training was fun. I was so close to do 50 more Burpees, but the time ticked quite loudly. I did the 100/50 and Croft slower this time, which obviously took longer, but it was fun, even if I was pretty much bathing in my own sweat. I didn't know I could possibly sweat that much, so there was a lot of water to drink, thankfully. Honestly, I haven't been working and just having fun lately, but regardless of that, I feel pretty good about myself.

As for tonight, I think I am going to worldbuild a little before bed, and start converting The Elder Scrolls into ICRPG because it's less taxing than World of Warcraft, especially since UESTRPG did that on 5e, but I want to go with the classless route, like it happened in Skyrim.

"Ars longa, vita brevis"
I did not expect that transcribing my Storyteller Screen into a notebook (and adding a few extra rules that I'm not sure whether I'll use on my VtM game or not) will take the entire day, and swallow up the table of contents that I did for that notebook. Of course I made my work harder on myself because the screen is just too big, and I don't want to keep shuffling upon the manual whenever I need to reference something when I can just quickly glance it on the notebook. My wrist hurts. It feels like I spent the day filling an entire notebook of 96 pages with a story.

That's not why I skipped my workouts, though. I skipped them because my mom invited me to visit one of our friends. I was bored, and I could use the walk. So I went. Even though I got bored at some point, I decided to actually use Obsidian more often and created a new vault on my phone to work as a microjournal for whenever I don't have anything to write on in my pockets. I did it then, and I saw myself doing that more often. My reason to do that is just to put the hyperactivity apart, to make the most of my boredom, and other things... It's just something that I'll do whenever I'm out. I tried to use Obsidian in my phone to write, but it's very, very, very annoying to write on my phone without a keyboard. For reading Markdown files that I write in the computer and transfer them to the phone, though, that's great. That's actually how I do my D&D sessions: I have all the Markdown files in my phone, and read them out to the table... that is if I don't handwrite my session, which is something that I've done before.

Nevertheless, I managed to do the WoD, but I had to use another Hall Pass for Fit December. By the end of the day I realized I could do Day 31, so I did it. Thus, that means I finished both Fit December and Power Squats, so brand new badge in my profile!

On our way back home, we found some abandoned books on the floor. They seemed to be in good condition, so I rescued them home. Three of them interested me, one because it is history of my country, and it shows a point of view that I despise, so I'll be reading it with a shielded open mind because it is history, albeit biased to one side (though it might give me insight about their side of history). The other one is a small book of poems, and the last one is a compilation of a couple of novelettes and short stories by André Maurois? Never heard of him. By a quick Google search I just did, he seems to be an interesting guy... and, of course, the Wikipedia page has him posing with one of the signature poses of author pictures: index in the ear. You know the one.

Anyway, let's not do anything tonight and just go to bed.

Daily HIIT is next. I just made my decision. Other than that, I spent my day finishing everything that I needed for the next year. I used one notebook to archive all of the ideas that I have, an decided to write them in pen instead of pencil. I also drew on it something that might end up being my logo for that penname, but I'm not too keen about it just yet. At least I like the idea. It's the same emblem my Cleric has, but more complicated.

An aunt is visiting too, so we spent the New Year's Eve together. It was a very chill day, with me just rolling dice for making the backstories of my characters. I wrote one completely, but the other one I only rolled the events and left it for other time to actually write it. As for my journal, I decided to do weekly objectives, and limit my daily goals to four, and opted to not be so strict about it and don't mind if I don't make one or two. Of course, I also did a new Obsidian vault on my phone yesterday, which is where I'll micro journal, and drain my brain out of any hyperactivity signs that makes it go like a cat or a dog on zoomies, so I can't focus. Already did it that same day, and I felt very relaxed from that point on, even though I wasn't doing anything that required focus. Now, it's time to test the waters of it.

By the way, there's no typo in this log. I actually increased my Burpee count to 150 in one workout. I'm pretty much close to do Death by Burpees at LVL III on a daily basis. I'll see if I can go to 150 often. Obviously takes 15 minutes instead of 10, but I felt very good about giving a bit more of a push. How's that to end 2023 upon? I am no longer afraid of Burpees. I say bring them on!

Happy new year, everyone! :fireworks:
