I drink Yorkshire gold classic black tea with a splash of milk and unpasteurised honey. It's my mainstay throughout the day since I don't drink coffee, pop, juices, etc. I do sometimes have herbal tea and it's usually some berry variety for shits & giggles, but not often.

I have recently dove (back) into herbalism/turned my kitchen half into an apocathary and that has included making my own tea blends out of tea leaves (and other caffeinated plants; and just herbal teas).

Favorite caffeinated blends atm are:
*Black tea w/ hibiscus & elderflower
*Yerba Mate w/ orange peel and milky oat straw
*Black Tea w/ bergamont peel & rose hips
*Green Tea w/ ginger and jasmine

I also bought some Yapoun Holly but somehow even tho it is a cousin of Yerba Mate (which I adore) I am not super fond of it.

And, bc I am battling sinus misery...
* Mullin leaf, honey suckle, and chamomile

Seriously tho, I have a lot of jars of stuff in kitchen atm lol https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...DnhCdvbvvr64awFNQrY-R5GTr4M/edit?usp=drivesdk

I wish we could all teleport and have an afternoon tea together. Just reading about your tea preferences made me crave a cuppa.

Most of the teas y'all have mentioned are my jam.

Herbal teas, especially peppermint, ginger and lemon, oolong teas, all sort of green teas, jasmine tea, rose tea, rooibos teas (especially the flavoured ones), and black tea wise, earl grey, lapsang souchong and east Frisian black teas are common choices. There are so many options!
White tea is also delicious, but if I have to name one that isn't my cuppa, is Pu'er. It's too earthy for me but I understand the appeal.

I drink herbal mixed teas (for lack of better word since no tea leaves are used due to not having them) either one I make myself for different conditions (headaches, colds, etc) I also have an Anxiety Relief tea from a place called Sticky Situations which also does infused honeys. I just happen to like their Anxiety tea since it seems to help more than what I can mix from what we have at home. I also need to get back into the habit of drinking catnip tea every morning. I had to stop due to a neurologist putting me on supplements and an emergency headache reliever (for when my migraines hit even on the supplements) and I am thinking of starting back up after I see him in a couple of months.

In responding to this, I realized just how much tea I drink and I'm rather surprised. I should buy stock!
  1. I always have a carafe of iced tea in my fridge, either Ahmad's Cardamom or Stash's Peach Black.
  2. I love a double brewed Yorkshire Gold black tea in the morning, with just a splash of cream and one lump of sugar. If I'm feeling romantic, I swap this for a cup of Rose Black Tea (my favorite one is from the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, CA).
  3. Mid-morning (between breakfast and lunch) is for Stash Lemon-Ginger; the sour lemon keeps me awake and the spicy ginger warms the throat. If I've run out of that, I am partial to this Blackberry Sage blend from The Spice Traveler.
  4. Mid-afternoon is Stash Moroccan Mint (which is currently the strongest peppermint tea I can find, any suggestions?) to help digest lunch.
  5. In the evenings, I love either Ahmad's Evening Black Tea or Yorkshire's Bedtime Brew. Both of these can be drunk with a little cream and sugar and mitigate the desire for coffee with dessert, if I'm craving sweets.
  6. Of course, before bed, it's always the classic Sleepytime. I never quite grew out of this comforting flavor even though there are more effective relaxing teas out there.
  7. And lastly, if I am feeling like Picard... Tea. Earl Grey. Hot. (...with a slice of lemon and a drop of honey, please.)
Edit: I almost forgot to mention the best post-hike or post-extreme exertion recovery tea! The Spice Merchants carry a PHENOMENAL Golden Milk Tea that I swear works like a charm for soreness and muscle inflammation. It has a long brew time but it's positively medicinal (without tasting so). I take it with me when I do my long-haul single day hikes (usually 20+ miles) and it cuts my recovery time in half and mitigates second-day soreness beautifully.

The black tea, bergamot and rosehips sounds utterly divine. Have you perfected the ratios? Do you prefer one flavor to come through more than the others?
