Outside is partly sunny, and 33 (F) degrees feels like 30.
Husb driving to his mom’s today. Plan is to either bring her back here, or just pack and bring more of her things if she won’t come. She has said every day this week that she is coming. But….who knows.🥴🤯This has been “the plan” for the last 2 years. We have been practicing all week with our gate, leash, muzzle system for keeping Canoe separate and safe with an unknown person in the house. So.😳🤷🏼

AM- awake at nearly 8am (PDT), Canoe tried to wake me up at 4:30, but I told him to go back to bed. It took 2+ hours for me to get back to sleep. At least I was in bed for 9 hours, even if sleep eluded me for a while….🥴Husb says his mom blew up while loading her closet contents and refused to come this week. Then 4 hours later blew up again because her closet was empty. Husb says he’s coming home today, tho. Canoe and I continue to practice indoor gate, leash, muzzle use for when she does come….

Sorry your sleep was restless. I have nights like this, as well. I try to go to bed at a decent hour, and either it takes forever to get to sleep, or I fall asleep quickly and then wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep.

It looks like you had a productive day, regardless. Hope tonight is more restful for you.

It did not do that, no. Just gave more insight into his Hitler-like craziness, and from whence it comes. The author is THE New York Times journalist that has been following him for a long time. How on earth she remains sane is a mystery to me….

Mostly cuz she cannot remember a thing from one minute to the next…so, he packs the car again today, and if she will come when tomorrow arrives, he will bring her. And, if she won’t, he’s moving more of her stuff.🥴🤷🏼

Husb’s planned changed. Mom would neither allow him to pack stuff, nor consider coming home with him. Says she doesn’t want to leave. So, he arrived home 5 hours later, without mom. Says he’s not gonna make her move; he will get social worker involved to set up home care. He is done driving 5 hours one way. Winter is a problem for this trip to be more than monthly. My daughter will help, as she is only an hour from mom. Talk about amping up all my stress hormones and then suddenly dropping them. This is such a roller coaster ride. I just wonder how long he will maintain that resolve…🥴🤔

AM- awake at the new time of 7am (PST) after less than 8 hours of sleep. Only getting a few sips of coffee in before my friend with Canoe’s female doggo playmates called. She needed help with the older one, who woke up paralyzed this morning. We loaded her into my friend’s car, took her to the vet, where they diagnosed a tumor on her thoracic spine= no pain, no movement. Prob metastasis all over. Poor doggo cannot stand up, eat or drink, or even wag her own tail. Instead of extending a poor quality of life for not much benefit, my friend opted for euthanasia. So, that was my morning😢

🇺🇸****Veteran’s Day****🇺🇸

**my husb’s 67th birthday**🙀…it’s so weird that he’s “that old.” It feels like we are both still in our early 40’s, like when we got married. While at the same time we both feel quite “used up” in our 60’s🫤

AM- awake at 7ish (PST) after nearly 9 hours of sleep🤩
Outside is foggy, with clouds and rain, 46 (F)degrees feels like 43🌧️

AM- awake before 7am (PST) after being in bed for 9 hours, but only slept for 8 of them🥴Husb was busy snoring as soon as his head hit his pillow😤
