The improv theater was only so so, but the dinner and ice cream before were very tasty.

A lovely day! Except when I stepped on the scale this morning. WTF is happening!!!! Not good.
Otherwise I had a great day, home office, harvesting kombucha, running a wash, reading in the sun. I'm going to have a pampering evening tonight as my husband is with his girlfriend and I have the house to myself :happy:

A very nice day! Morning in the garden and reading in the sun, afternoon birthday party of a friend - it was a bit sad to be indoors with such glorious weather but now we're sitting outside having dinner before we go to see Kill Bill: the whole bloody affair, so it's ok. And the party was nice.

A great day! Lazy start, sports, breakfast, and then we went to the park and read and talked in the sun. It was awesome!!
Then we came home and made roasted potatoes and asparagus and tofu for dinner. Yum!

A nice day! It was farewell to a colleague I like very much who is starting early retirement next week, wow how time flies. And I met my friend for an afternoon coffee on the rooftop terrace bar, which was also very nice.

Home office day! A few things got done and I had a good discussion with my colleagues on the best way to tackle something.
Now I'll put the foundation paint on the wall! Soon we can close the hole and plant the garden!

A wonderful day!
Lots of gardening! The tomato house is installed, 2/3 of the tomatoes are planted inside. The remaining tomatoes will go outside the house so I need to wait a couple of more weeks. I seeded the green beans and I soaked the earth extensively, it was so dry I could barely get through with the fork. Luckily the rainwater tank is too full so I had to empty it anyways. I emptied the compost bin, distributed the compost on the garden to the joy of the nesting birds who got a feast, and planted the flowers on the pillar pots.
And I read in the sun for a couple of hours. Yay!

Unfortunately my husband broke one of his machines, he had just finished repairing it and now it's so badly broken, it might not be fixable at all. Sad.

Another beautiful day with lots of sunshine! I didn't do much so far other than accompany my husband to bring back the leftover bags of plaster. Now he's gone to get some earth so there's probably shoveling in my near future. The garden needs to be filled up, as the wood pieces I put at the bottom are slowly decomposing and sinking.

Unfortunately the earth he brought back is not garden earth by any means, which made him upset but I'm not going to mix hard earth with the nice humus rich one I finally got in the garden. But I used some of it under the boards as I had to move them today so I can pass by the tomato house.

Then I drove into the city and met my partner and we went for a lovely bike ride! First biking of the year!

I went for a wonderful walk this morning in my favorite valley. About 9 km plus hiking up the hill and back. Lovely!
After a tasty lunch of asparagus we walked to the city center and visited the Maker Fair. It was fun but so crowded and so much chaos!
Now a quiet aperitivo and then we'll go hunt a pizza.
Annoyingly the place we brought a key to be copied decided to be closed this afternoon and they won't open again until Tuesday - we leave on Monday. Let's see.

Almost all the plants are out in the garden! My back hurts. But it's done and let's hope those zucchini and pumpkins start looking healthier soon.
The chestnut tree was delivered yesterday and it was packed in straw which was perfect to spread around the plants, hopefully it'll keep the cats and birds and snails away, plus the moisture in.

So yesterday evening we started sticking the insulation sheets onto the walls outside. It went pretty well, the sheets were super sticky, and we did about half when it got too late.
This morning the whole thing had come down, unstuck itself right off. Ffs. So we went to the store where we bought it and showed them the pictures, and they'll investigate with the seller of the material. Let's see. I think the whole thing is overkill but my husband wants to do it like that, so...
The rest of the day was spent preparing another wall for installing a metal piece, which we'll hopefully do tomorrow, reading in the sun, and I bought two bags to attach to the bike so I don't have to carry a backpack. Yay!
