And... I'm just realizing my 90 day streak was May 29!
Lots of very big shifts, life events and personal growth over the last 90 days. Fitness is a part of that that anchors me. It's been a big win to commit to even one small routine every single day. There's the physical benefit for sure, but the biggest upside is mental. It's a thing I do just for me, on my own terms, because I like it and it benefits me. It feels like an indulgent luxury sometimes, and I love it.
My last streak was around 2 years, and it looked a lot different. I've been much gentler with myself this time. I was remembering recently that some of the harder things I've done didn't feel daunting because they were fun. So I'm paying attention to what excites me, what my body needs, and what stretches me a little beyond my comfort level. I'm not worrying about shoulds this time (except for safety). And I'm enjoying myself along the way.
