Website Down / Slow

You may have noticed the website slowing down in the past 48 hours and then it completely went down for several hours today... We were taken down by an army of bots.

The good news: we’re back up and monitoring things closely. The bad news: bots never sleep.... but neither do we (kidding… mostly).

Thanks Neila, one of the other communities I'm part of has been dealing with this for a couple of weeks. Apparently it's most likely AI scraper bots swimming around the net gobbling up data.

I was worried for a sec when I couldn't log in. I tried to look to see if anyone had mentioned anything (in case it was just me) but all I really saw was one said bot advertising some CBD stuff

We're making a few adjustments on the server now, followed by a reboot. There will be about 10–15 minutes of downtime during this process.
