Thank you so much for this @AgileGrrl :thankyou: backup and restore is something we REALLY need help testing. And it so happened that as you posted this we were already working on the dashboard - so we also looked at the bug. In theory - it should now be fixed! There might be some caching at the moment, though.

We also added the functionality to remove challenges and programs individually!

So does that function then reset the count back to zero on the individual pages? I know, questions, questions, questions. Not like you aren't busy enough as it is.

The information on my dash board & book marks on my iPhone will not sync with my iPad. I had no issues syncing information before. Any ideas how I can address this?
Hi! I'm not really tech savvy but I will try to help you.

If you click (wherever you are able to see all your info) on either "my dashboard" or "my bookmarks", this will show up (see below):

Have you tried downloading your bookmarks and/or data, send it to your other device, and then download that data there?

I hope this helps.

Hey @PETERMORRIS966. Your ipad holds different cookies than your iphone. Now that cookies are being used to store all workout information, not the DAREBEE servers, they would both have to have the exact same cookie data. Best bet would be to backup your bookmarks and dashboard from your phone and transfer that file to your ipad, then restore from those files.

Just know that if you mark something completed (day/program/etc) on one device it will not show up on the other unless both have the exact same cookie data. So maybe pick a device and stick with just that one for all of your DAREBEE activity. Less headaches. 😊

BTW - The Hive is still being hosted on DAREBEE servers, so that will stay the same regardless of which device you use.

@neilarey - me again, being a pain. :ss: I love the feature that was added to the Programs section on the dashboard, where one can 'continue' with the next day's workout instead of having to go into the program's main page and clicking on a specific day. Will that same function be added to Challenges in the future? Just wondering (or throwing that out to the wind 😉).

...[Program] days were checked off along with the done button, hence programs are pulling through the cookie data from the backup. Challenges are not it seems...

@neilarey, I'm seeing the same issue, came here to report, and found that @AgileGrrl beat me to it in a marvelous way.

Since I was already using my phone to track Challenges, and the data persists on my phone, I figured I'd load my full, finished backup file. No issues with Restore Backup on mobile, everything worked wonderfully, except this. Dashboard data is perfect, but Challenges no longer have days checked (although Programs do).

Edit: Looks like @NightTigress caught this on Sunday. Credit where credit is due. ;)

  • The page for the Jump Start challenge (this is probably the same for any challenge) doesn't show the ticked boxes any more ie. it doesn't load the ticked boxes from the "CH_DAYS_jump-start-challenge" local storage value. Re-ticking the boxes works since the challenge page sets both the previously mentioned local storage value and the "CH_PTX__challenges_jump_start_challenge_html" local storage value. It seems to only read from the *PTX* one.
After noticing this on my phone when I restored data from a back-up, I re-ticked the challenge days and the Dashboard displayed as expected, which is great. However, when I downloaded data to verify, it did reset the completion date for the re-ticked days.

Completion dates for individual Challenge days only show in the downloaded data, so it may or may not make much of a difference, although I'm not sure about future, downstream impact for the 'Streak' feature.

Went into one of my ongoing challenges (core control) and even though the dashboard shows that I have done 10 days, when on the actual page, none of the numbers are checked off. 🤨

I then went into one of my completed challenges (one & done) and, once again, none of the numbers are checked off but the done button is checked. 🤔

Went to one of my completed programs (zero hero) and those days were checked off along with the done button, hence programs are pulling through the cookie data from the backup. Challenges are not it seems.
Thanks so much! This should now be fixed. Should be.

You want the good news or bad news? 😜

Opened up fresh new profiles in Opera, Chrome, and Brave and visited DAREBEE for the first time with them. Restored the dashboard from backup and the stats look great and correct. Yeah! Programs all loaded with proper days checked off. Double yeah! Challenges still have nothing checked off for individual days but at least those that were completed do show 'Done'. Yeah? Challenges that are ongoing are still showing blank. Shoot! Sorry.

...should be fixed. Instead of tweaking the dashboard, we tweaked the challenges' tracking instead :unicorn:

At the top where the date of the last activity is displayed, can we have that info for the last seven days? Seven checkboxes (not necessarily aligned to the week), like in the challenges and programs below, that show if I did something that day. They could be
  • ticked when something was done that day :v:
  • crossed out for two or more days missed :x:
  • empty if there was no activity yet on the current day
  • ticked, not full red but outlined like the crossed out box instead, for only a single missed day, since your streak is still alive
Why do I want this? The dashboard and I have our disagreements on how long my streak is since I sometimes only finish my workouts shortly after midnight. A visualization like this would let me easily see when I need to manually update the streak number again.

It would also help with explaining the fact that if you skip only one day you don't lose your streak by visually showing exactly that. Not everyone will stick their paws into the source code to figure that out.

Just as a quick mockup, this is how it could look like:

For me everything is working nice except streak. I use safari. It does not move.
Could you tell me a little bit more? Do you check off DDs and/or workouts or challenges daily? The dashboard reads the dates of when you last checked anything off on the website. The streak is only broken with 2 days of inactivity in a row.

Thank you :thankyou:

Here you see the day the streak started. Today I did morning jumpstart and it is noted here as last exercise. So it should be 30 days streak not 28. It never moved. I enter it manually because couple of times because I thought that it will move. But no :)
...I see. It normally counts the day you reset, then the next day is starts counting, the 3rd day is when it actually changes (counting days already past, not the current day). The reset itself is counted as one day already. So, if you don't touch it after you reset it for 3 days in a row, then let me know if this still an issue.

I want to see if this is a reset issue - so I know where to look in order to fix it - or make it more intuitive. Basically, I want to see if it's miscounting or not counting at all.

Regarding the non-moving streak as reported by @Cubana:

I think I got a reproducible situation on when it does and doesn't move. (I say "I think" because it takes more than one day per test and I'm not sure if I did everything correctly.) Assuming that the dashboard looks correct on one day (It shows "Last Activity" as the current day and the correct streak number), depending on what I do the next day, the streak either moves or doesn't move.

It does move:
  1. I click on my bookmark for the challenge I'm doing.
  2. I do the challenge and tick the box for the day.
  3. I click on my bookmark to the dashboard. It shows "Last Activity" as today and the correct streak number.
It does not move:
  1. I click on my bookmark to the dashboard. It shows "Last Activity" as yesterday and the streak number for yesterday.
  2. I click on the challenge I'm doing (on the dashboard page).
  3. I do the challenge and tick the box for the day.
  4. I click on my bookmark to the dashboard. It shows "Last Activity" as today but the wrong streak number (still the streak number for yesterday).
So it seems like using the dashboard to go to the challenge or looking at the dashboard before doing the challenge makes the streak not move as it should somehow.

Hope this is useful?

I completed the labyrinth by exiting, but didn't visit every room. There's no done button showing, so it's not marked complete on my dashboard. Do I need to go back and finish every room now?

Ok, so this explains why the Tracker (darebee.com/dd) has stopped working. However, I was in the 2000+ on that one and now the Dasboard has only recorded 32 EoDs (because it did not exist or log earlier stuff). Is there a way to set it to the number that I should be at?

Looks like you will have to go back and click the DONE button all of the ones you had previously completed. Maybe the DAREBEE programmers will implement something like the 'restore streak' option to allow Bees like yourself the ability to fix EoD tracking errors.
