    Stronger Together!

Having community is such a huge help with this (: For me, my faith community has played a huge part in helping my loneliness post-COVID. I also appreciate how you mentioned service as a way to help cure loneliness. It's so true...when we give of ourselves, it helps us feel more alive and...

Monday 9/25/2023 Completed a hard HIIT workout on Keelo today that involved sitting ring dips — quickly realized how hard rings are 🤯 Also did a mix of dumbbell cleans and air bike sprints 🥵 My problem is that I like too much variety. I like strength training. Im loving DAREBEE. I got to find...

Question about substituting normal and reverse lounges

Welcome to the journey! I recently joined in the DAREBEE fun and am enjoying it so far. I would echo some of the advice above by trying other movements which exercise the same muscles, especially step ups. I too have bad knees and had to go to PT because I have an issue with my patellum not...

    Functional Training Check Ins! 💪🏼

Ok, completed Like a Boss today with 20lb DBs just to get a feel. This was a really solid upper body workout, and I like how the core was mixed in. I did it at the end of the day and got three sets done (Level 1). I like how these workouts can be scaled up or down. Onward!

    AMA October 2023

New to this but would to learn more about best practices for resistance training mixed with calisthenics. There’s also a lot of debate out there about weights vs resistance bands. Is that on the right track? 😅

    Focusing

Here are some things that have helped me: Having a basic schedule: Working out three days a week for example. For me, doing something daily has helped get into a cadence of fitness. May be biking one day but lifting weights next. Set manageable goals: I’m going to exercise each day for 10...

    PPL Program?

Hey all! Recently discovered DAREBEE and am loving the variety and the mission 💪🏼 I reviewed all the fitness profiles but couldn’t find a Push/Pull/Legs program. Can you help me find one? I’m really looking to do a mix of resistance training, calisthenics, and mobility. I’m okay with Level 4...

    Injured foot/ plantar fasciitis

I echo what others said! I have it as well and was recommended the following by a Dr: - Good shows and arch support - put a towel on the floor and tug it towards you with your toes of the bad foot. Push the towel away using your toes. This exercises the muscle - lift marbles with your foot and...
