What is the difference between exercises 2 and 3 in the 2nd day of unbound?

In exercise 2 you move your elbow to the side as if you want to bring it behind your head, in exercise 3 you pull it back over your shoulder

What is the difference between exercises 2 and 3 in the 2nd day of unbound?

As I understood, in ex2 you give pressure towards your head along the line between your shoulders and in ex3 the pressure is directed towards the back, 90° angle to your line of shoulders.
