What is the suggested weight for this program? Any thoughts on this?
The weight that allows you to do the reps and sets on the program, then when it becomes too easy you increase the weight. For each exercise the weight may vary depending on the exercise.
This is the indication given for the IRONBORN program but it applies to all those with weights unless it is specified:
To get the most out of this program pick a pair of dumbbell you can just do 20 alternating bicep curls with (20 in total, 10 each arm). Recommended starting weight per dumbbell is 7 ½ kg (16lb) for men; 5kg (11lb) for women.

"Motivation is temporary. Discipline is forever."
The weight you choose largely depends on you, and if you have ever used any weights before. If you haven't, then you'll likely start off fairly light, as opposed to if you're accustomed to lifting weights. Start with a weight that you can complete the reps with but you feel tired by the end of the set - not totally exhausted, but well-used. For some exercises, you might find that you have to use a lighter weight and that's fine. Half-way through th programme, the weights you began with you now find a little too light so you want to use a heavier weight. Experiment, see what works for you, and change it if/when you want.
