How to incorporate Jump rope

Hey does anyone have a strategy to how I can incorporate jump rope? Maybe as a warm-up on the 8 weeks to 5K program?

It's a good idea for 5k.
I do jump rope in the morning mostly added to the rest. It can be added anytime as soft or hard cardio.
