So, I technically started on May 11th. I'm starting with the Foundation General Fitness (Light) 30 day exercise program and I'm on day 3 of that. I've done the exercises for it already today. I've been meaning to start exercising for years but never really knew where to start and I found out about this from a friend. I don't really have any goals for starting exercising, more of just, hopes, I guess? It's definitely cheaper to buy clothes under my size so losing weight would help there, especially when purchasing chest binders. I'm also hoping that maybe my chronic ankle pain might lessen if I weigh less. I got injured while I was working 10hrs every day and walking 2hrs every day on top of that and carrying around two 20lbs teas twice a day and now I can't be on both feet for even a full 8hr shift and it has heavily impacted my ability to get a job. So I'm mainlu starting this for financial and mobility issues. So far it's going good and I've kept up with it. I redownloaded this app called Habitica to help me remember to/if I did my exercise that day or not and I guess this post is to help keep me accountable as well and not forget?

I did 3 sets of 10 jumping jacks, 3 sets of 6 side jacks, 3 sets of 10 side leg raises, and 3 sets of 6 march twists.
May 12th, 2024
I did 3 sets of 5 wall squats, 3 sets of 5 count wall half squat holds, 3 sets of 20 arm raises, 3 sets of 20 raised arm circles, and 3 sets of 20 count arm holds.
May 13th, 2024, Today
I did 3 sets of 30 march steps and 6 step back + step ups, 2 between each 10 march steps. So a total of 90 march steps and 18 step back and ups.

I did 3 sets of 10 jumping jacks, 3 sets of 6 side jacks, 3 sets of 10 side leg raises, and 3 sets of 6 march twists.

I did 3 sets of 5 wall squats, 3 sets of 5 count wall half squat holds, 3 sets of 20 arm raises, 3 sets of 20 raised arm circles, and 3 sets of 20 count arm holds.
May 13th, 2024, Today

My wrists kind of hurt after today's exercise and my balance and hand eye coordination was really off after yesterday's exercise, but that's fine. Still going strong with this! I'll likely keep this a secret from my family until after I complete all 30 days of this program, that way I don't get judged or anything by them.

Alright, did my exercise for today, May 14th, 2024.

I did 3 sets of 10 raised leg swings, 3 sets of 6 alternating arm and leg raises, 3 sets of 10 upward leg extensions, and 3 sets of 6 side leg extensions.

Woke up, brushed my teeth, got some cleaning one and did my exercise for today, May 15th, 2024.

I did 3 sets of 12 step jacks, 3 sets of 10 side jacks, 3 sets of 10 march twists, and 3 sets of 10 side leg raises.

Today's exercise was 3 sets of 6 wall half squats, 3 sets of 6 step back + step ups, 3 sets of 10 chest expansions, 3 sets of 10 standing shoulder taps, and 3 sets of 10 bicep extensions.

Woke up in a lot of pain. Seriously considered putting off today's exercise for tomorrow but did it anyways. Ended up dislocating some ribs in my sleep so that's been a nightmare today and the medicine I took didn't help. But did today's exercise and took some more meds.

Did 3 sets of 10 wall half squats, 3 sets of 10 second wall half squat holds, 3 sets of 10 calf raises, and 3 sets of 10 second calf raise holds.

Had trouble waking up today. Started packing to move yesterday, but did my exercises. Did 3 sets of 10 step extensions, 3 sets of 10 step jacks, and 3 sets of 10 side jacks.

I forgot to post yesterday's exercise. Did the usual 3 sets for day 15 and just finished day 16 with the same 3 sets of each I usually do. Been really lacking in energy and ability to keep warm so been doing my exercises later than usual lately. Just really tired and packing up to move is likely affected things.

I forgot to post yesterday's exercise. Did the usual 3 sets for day 15 and just finished day 16 with the same 3 sets of each I usually do. Been really lacking in energy and ability to keep warm so been doing my exercises later than usual lately. Just really tired and packing up to move is likely affected things.

Did day 19 of the exercises after some packing. Did the usual 3 sets. Definitely don't recommend doing the inclined plank leg raises with an office chair in lieu of a couch. Not very stable, lol.

Did day 20, same 3 sets. Hoping I'll get some decent sleep here soon. Just, having some trouble staying asleep and chronic pain getting to me.

Did day 21, 3 sets of each like usual. Got decent sleep last night. Dealt with a killer headache, but other than that I had a surprisingly nice birthday. I got a lot of birthday wishes on here and other places, my family even called me! It was s really good day. Nearly forgot to do my exercises, but I got it! I've already noticed my ankle just, doesn't really hurt as often since I've started exercising. My shoulder keeps getting knocked out of place, but that's more manageable.

Did day 22 later than normal. Did my 3 sets. I went out with family to celebrate my birthday and had a really good time. For the first time in a while, I went out without my cane and didn't experience any pain or discomfort. It wasn't very long, but it was a lot better than it's been in a long time.

Did day 22 later than normal. Did my 3 sets. I went out with family to celebrate my birthday and had a really good time. For the first time in a while, I went out without my cane and didn't experience any pain or discomfort. It wasn't very long, but it was a lot better than it's been in a long time.

Did day 23 late again. Had a really busy day. Did groceries for 2 households, went to my aunt's for chili and birthday cake, got my hair cut, nearly finished packing, and did my usual 3 sets of today's exercise. I've been doing a lot if walking and movement without my cane, and so far it hasn't started to hurt! Two years ago I couldn't be on my feet for 4hrs straight due to the pain in my ankle and it seems starting these exercises is really helping! My body hasn't hurt nearly as much as it normally does!

Did day 23 late again. Had a really busy day. Did groceries for 2 households, went to my aunt's for chili and birthday cake, got my hair cut, nearly finished packing, and did my usual 3 sets of today's exercise.
