@CODawn @Anek @colin thanks!

Sunday November 5th
Bad day. Eating wise and physical wise. Got 5000 steps though.

Monday November 6th
Today my calf was good again.
The days are way too short. Work, running, cooking, eating.. no time for a serious workout. I love the Dynamic Dumbbell workout, because it's short but targets a lot of muscle groups. But I had in mind I would do some different kinds of (arm) workouts. But they take a lot more time. I am proud that today I allowed myself to do a shorter workout, if that makes me workout at all. The alternative was that I would not have started.
▪️ Morning cardio Good Morning, lvl 1
▪️  Run 5.25 km road
▪️ Focus workout: arms Dynamic Dumbbell , lvl 1, 2 kg

Steps today: 11723

Goals progress
🙂 5000 steps (1/7)
🙂 Healthy dinner (1/5)
🙂 Reasonable snacks (1/5)
🙂 Playing the piano (1/7)
🙂 Going to bed in time (1/5)
▪️ Doing 2 chores a week (0/2)

Step streak: 9 days
Daily walk streak: 6 days
Workout streak: 1 days
Duolingo (hard) streak: 103 days (218)

I kind of fell off the wagon again. I've been keeping myself busy so I wouldn't miss my boyfriend too much. But it also exhausted me and since yesterday eating and exercising are off. But, this week I did cook healthy dinners on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I discovered some nice new quick recipes.

Today I started a new language course. Not on Duolingo, because they don't have this language available, but a 'real' one. It's been a long time since I studied for real, on something I am not familiar with at all. Hopefully I'm still know how to study and learn new stuff :typy:

Tomorrow I'll try to hit the reset button.

Did some language learning and 2 episodes of a series and it was rime for bed. I allowed myself to skip the focus workout..

@colin thanks for asking, I'm okay. Just had covid last week (not very ill but it was not fun with a running nose), am super busy to keep myself going (my boyfriend is abroad), work is partly a disaster (a bit of a hostile colleague who is leaving soon plus I am super busy..) but also partly very good (I get to lead the way towards changes).

I hope I will be able to slow down in a few weeks..

At least that colleague won't be around much.
Sorry to read you were sick and I hope you're back to your healthy self.

@Gandhalfit thanks! I am totally healthy again :ss: and only 3 days of work with my colleague left

Wednesday November 29th
I am tired.. I work way too much. Didn't feel like doing anything but did. Dragged myself outside for a run too. It was really nice, it felt good. Tried to learn a bit for my language course, but it doesn't stick.. I don't know if I'm just getting older, or my mind is just too full.

November summary
I lost my workout consistency totally. But, I kind of kept my running going; not the way I like it but still twice a week. My plan for December is to try to actually  do what I planned for November. And I'll add my own Advent challenge: daily do the daily exercise to earn my Advent chocolate 😊

Total running: 60.09 km
Total steps: 230,757

Today I feel a bit of tension in my calf, so I didn't push myself to get to the 5000 steps. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to do my planned run 🤞

Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm back home from my vacation to enjoy the holidays. This is the first year I didn't get an ornament in the tree. I could've pushed myself to make it, but I thought it would be a healthy choice to not to.

First an update on my training log, pictures will follow later. I finished my advent calendar :move: I was very consistent on my minimums. Have run only once, but that's okay because I've also hiked a lot.

Sunday December 10th

▪️  Run 6.15 km, 114m elevation gain (like, in 1 go.. had to stop 2 or 3 times to catch my breath)
▪️Advent calendar EotD 10 tricep extensions

1000021613.jpg

Thursday December 14th
▪️  Walk morning walk 1.88 km

We were in a carcrash.. got hit pretty hard twice from behind while we were waiting in front of the traffic lights. The guy had been drinking, I think just below the limit for legal actions. He was not braking at all.. Luckily we were driving a very strong car (old Toyota Landcruiser), so we were just shaken up but nothing serious. The car is not drivable though 🙁 and needs serious repair.
