It was nearly impossible to do any serious workout in the summer. We lived around the heatwaves. The good thing is that I didn't get sick, injured, or gained any more weight. Sometimes that's enough.
I finished Zen and as soon as the weather got a bit cooler I started Totals, which is roughly my capacity's limit. I'm on Day 23. It has served two very good purposes: one, I've lost a lot of volume, particularly around my waist. Two, I have a better idea of the things I do well (arms, legs, cardio), the things I sort of manage (abs) and the struggle (I can do very few reps of anything that starts as a plank). BUT I can do burpees! Not many, not well, but they are possible!
I'm very happy and motivated. I hadn't felt this energetic and fit in ages.
