"Challenges completed: 103/152"
Challenge Challenge progress: 68/140.

Five more challenges completed. Even the easier challenges take time and effort to complete:
  • Power Punch :v:
  • Stamina Upgrade :v:
  • Walk & Run :v:
  • Touch Your Toes :v:
  • Iron Core :v:
Vacation season continues, so I'm going to continue with lighter challenges that keep me upright. That way, I can complete them wherever I happen to be. So, my next set of challenges:
  • Balance
  • The Guardian
  • Re:Center
  • Upper Body Light
  • Wall Push-Ups
After this round, I will finally be past the halfway point. Keep bringing it on!

Challenge Challenge progress: 73/141.

I am past the halfway point(!) now that I have completed:
  • Balance :v:
  • The Guardian :v:
  • Re:Center :v:
  • Upper Body Light :v:
  • Wall Push-Ups :v:
For the past couple of months, I've been doing lighter challenges. It's time to dip back into some of the harder ones. This month I have seven challenges lined up: three tougher physical challenges and four lifestyle challenges (which are tough in a different way):
  • 2,000 Push-Ups
  • Impact
  • Hollow Hold
  • A Salad a Day
  • Plant Based
  • No Junk Food (I figure these three diet challenges can work together.)
  • Get to Bed on Time (in my case, 10:30 p.m.)
Hopefully the diet and more regular bedtime will give me extra energy for this latest wave of challenges. Once more, back at it!

Challenge Challenge progress: 80/142 (56%).

This month was a big challenge month, and it has been one year since I took up the Challenge Challenge. This month I completed:
  • 2,000 Push-Ups :v:
  • Impact (Oof...) :v:
  • Hollow Hold (Ouch!) :v:
  • A Salad a Day (My go to was red cabbage coleslaw.) :v:
  • Plant Based (Not much change for me here, except for dairy. Plus, I forgot Canadian Thanksgiving was this month. I had Tofurky and coleslaw.) :v:
  • No Junk Food (Tomorrow morning, I am having a cookie!) :v:
  • Get to Bed on Time (10:30 p.m., which meant cutting nighttime gaming short all month. I played Like a Dragon: Ishin! in short bursts, which was hard with the game's very long cutscenes.) :v:
I believe that this has been my hardest month of challenges so far. It's the first time my challenges started interfering with other areas of my life. Next month, I will dial it back. No lifestyle challenges, and slightly easier physical challenges:
  • Burpees
  • Arms of Steel
  • Yoga Abs
  • Flexibility
Still got 62+ challenges left. That's at least another year's worth. Maybe two. Back at it.

Challenge Challenge progress: 84/143 (59%).

Four more challenges completed:
  • Burpees :v:
  • Arms of Steel :v:
  • Yoga Abs :v:
  • Flexibility :v:
Burpees. They always seem fine at first. Then, by the end, I can't wait to be done with them.

Going forward, I'm going to change my approach. Instead of starting a group of challenges together, I'm going to stagger them, starting a new one every 10 days. This will slow my progress, as I will only complete three challenges per month (while DAREBEE introduces a new challenge, sometimes two, per month); however, I think this will make for a more even and sustainable challenge experience. Because of the way most challenges increase incrementally over 30 days, some months, when I've reached day 30, it's taken me forever to complete everything.

All right. My next three challenges are:
  • Push-Ups & Squats. Then, 10 days later, add:
  • Power Walk. Then, 10 days later, add:
  • Tricep Dips.
Even with this new approach, I'll continue to check-in here monthly.

All right. Back at it.

Challenge Challenge progress: 85/144 (59%).

Because of my new staggered approach, I have completed only one challenge since my last check-in:
  • Push-Ups & Squats :v:
But I am also two-thirds of the way through:
  • Power Walk
And one-third of the way through:
  • Tricep Dips
My next three staggered challenges, in order, are:
  • Miner (starting tomorrow)
  • Wall Sit (starting in 11 days)
  • First Thing Push Ups (starting in 21 days)
Now that the staggered approach is under way, I will complete 3 more challenges by my next check-in. It's working out all right.

Challenge Challenge progress: 88/145 (61%).

All right. Three more challenges completed since the last check-in:
  • Power Walk :v:
  • Tricep Dips :v:
  • Miner :v: (18 gems collected from the optional quest)
Two challenges in progress:
  • Wall Sit (on day 20)
  • First Things Push-Ups (on day 10)
Next three challenges lined up:
  • Abs (starting tomorrow)
  • Better Legs (start in 11 days)
  • Betters Arms (start in 21 days)
Staggering the challenges has been good for more evenly distributing how much I have to do each day. It's a little trickier to keep track of everything, with new challenges beginning and ending every 10 days, but I think I've got a system that's working.

Thank you everyone for the continued encouragement. Later this year, I'll reach 100 completed challenges!

Challenge Challenge progress: 91/146 (62%).

Checking in a day late. Yesterday marked three more challenges completed:
  • Wall Sit :v:
  • First Things Push-Ups :v:
  • Abs :v:
Today, I started:
  • Power Hold
And the next two challenges lined up are:
  • Calves of Steel
  • Warrior Arms (probably with the Path of the Hammer add-on)
I'm trying not to save all the hardest challenges until the end (except for One Punch Man) but there are still some real tough-looking challenges waiting...

Challenge Challenge progress: 94/147 (64%).

Three more challenges down:
  • Better Legs :v:
  • Betters Arms :v:
  • Power Hold :v:
Currently in progress:
  • Calves of Steel
  • Warrior Arms (with Path of the Hammer)
Next three lined up:
  • Before Breakfast Cardio (starts tomorrow)
  • Daily Abs (starts in 11 days)
  • Back & Arms (starts in 21 days)
I almost lost track of completing Better Legs and Better Arms and had to scroll back through previous check ins to figure it out. It's harder to keep straight when I'm starting a new challenge every 10 days but checking in only once a month. I'm trying though.

Challenge Challenge progress: 97/148 (65%).

Three more challenges completed:
  • Calves of Steel :v:
  • Warrior Arms (with Path of the Hammer) :v:
  • Before Breakfast Cardio :v:
Currently in progress:
  • Daily Abs
  • Back & Arms
To be followed by:
  • Daily Squats (starting tomorrow)
  • Warrior Abs (deciding between path of the axe, sword, or hammer for the optional quest) (start in 11 days)
  • Back & Shoulders (start in 21 days)
Next month, I will hit two significant milestones. First, I will reach 100 challenges completed. Also, I will reach 2/3 of challenges completed. Signs of progress!

"Challenges completed: 103/152"
Challenge Challenge progress: 100/151 (66%).

Achievement unlocked: :rstar:100 challenges completed!:rstar:

Three more challenges completed:
  • Daily Abs :v:
  • Back & Arms :v:
  • Daily Squats :v:
In progress:
  • Warrior Abs (with path of the axe)
  • Back & Shoulders
Next in line:
  • Step Up (starts tomorrow)
  • Micro HIIT
  • First Thing Pull Ups
So, I've reached triple digits. However, I'm not quite two-thirds done. It turns out that I missed the release of two challenges a while back, so the current total is 151, not 149. Next month, I should pass the two-thirds point, unless Darebee releases 5 new challenges at once.

At this rate, I've still got at least another year and a half to go. Soon enough, I'll have to plan how I'm going to complete the challenges that take a long time and the challenges that are extra hard. I'll figure something out. All right. Back at it.
